I am interested in your clinic. The desire for a child, so far unrealized. Please inform me about the chances you offer to women aged 39-40. I very much wish for this fortune. What do I need to have, along with my partner, to achieve this in your clinic? How much does this service cost? Please inform me. I remain waiting. Respect for your work and achievements

Hello, what tests should I do to choose the birth control pill? Waiting for your response..

Sent by marsida, më 30 May 2017 në 05:13

Hello Marsida, sorry for the delay.
To check whether we can take contraceptives or not, it is recommended:
1. Gynecological ultrasound (to exclude any possible pathology)
2. Pap test (if you have never done it or if it has been more than 1 year since you last did)
3. Breast ultrasound (to exclude breast cysts or fibroadenomas)
4. Complete blood count, bleeding time, coagulation time
5. Liver check (bilirubin, SGOT, SGPT)
6. Fats
All these need to be consulted with a gynecologist, who will take care to assess whether you can take contraceptives, which type, with what dosage, and for how long until the next check-up. I hope I have helped you at least a little. All the best

Hello doctor,
After I had intercourse with my boyfriend, he ejaculated inside me and I took an emergency pill and drank it for about 10 minutes. What can happen to me?

Sent by Erza, më 29 November 2017 në 15:38

Hello. Depending on your last cycle, the body's reactions to the emergency pill are:
1. You might not experience any change, the cycle will arrive more or less when you expected it.
2. You might have bleeding somewhat like a cycle a few days after taking the pill, and the next cycle might come later. So, a kind of disorder might occur.
3. The cycle might be delayed, partly because of the medicine, partly because of stress.
4. The least likely, the contraceptive method might fail, and you could become pregnant. But, as I told you, this is very unlikely to happen.
All the best

I believe in you to unreservedly answer the question I will pose: if a pregnant woman with her second child loses her life and the doctor gives the diagnosis of Amniotic Embolism (I have the necessary knowledge about embolism), while later an autopsy is conducted and a partial rupture of the uterus cervix (mucosa and musculature) 7-8 cm is found, and the diagnosis of pulmonary cardiac arrest in the conditions of an amniotic embolism is confirmed, the question arises, which is more primary, the rupture mentioned above, that, if we accept the diagnosis, wasn't it caused by the rupture and this by the use of the device and oxytocin? What about the child who seems to have psychomotor problems, what will her fate be? We pray, waiting for the answer from an impartial doctor and with the pain of a mother

Sent by Kastriot , më 20 April 2018 në 02:12

Hello. I sincerely regret your pain. Amniotic embolism is one of the most extreme emergencies in our profession, and in the world. It is not common, but it is fatal. Poor patient, but also the doctor, who experiences it. It is not something that can be anticipated or prevented. Your question is for a forensic doctor, not for me. Especially since you cannot give such an opinion without studying the case. I can tell you with certainty that uterine rupture and amniotic embolism are two things that are not related to each other, I assure you scientifically of this. The rupture of membranes (bursting of membranes for the leakage of amniotic fluid), this could indeed be followed by amniotic embolism. But this could happen to anyone. I hope the baby is fine, and that you get through this as easily as possible

Hello Doctor, I wanted to ask you, it has been 11 days since my menstrual cycle has been late, and when having intercourse with my husband we did not use protection because we want a daughter, but to be honest, my menstrual cycle is irregular, and now during these 11 days, I have not had any sign like, for example, any blood spots, just a little fainter than what I have heard many other women say... Is it true that this happens to all women and could there be a possibility for a potential pregnancy? I am waiting for an answer from you if possible, thank you

Sent by Megi, më 27 April 2018 në 04:49

Hello Megi! I hope it's true that this time it's not just your usual cycle delay. It's not necessary to have blood spots, there are many women who don't have this sign at all and still the pregnancy continues normally. Just wait another day and try with the morning urine, which is more concentrated, to take a pregnancy test. Good luck!

Hello Doctor! I am explaining my situation to you: In January of this year, I underwent a procedure to remove a 2cm polyp in the uterus. Everything went well, I have been followed up every month and have also done a Pap test which turned out to be fine, and from the visit, it was found that I have multifollicular ovaries. I am worried because my last period was on 03/24/2018 and until today (day 46) it has not yet come. Is it a consequence of the ovaries or could I also be pregnant? Waiting for an answer

Sent by Rei, më 08 May 2018 në 04:39

Hello Rei! If I understood correctly, you had the procedure in January, and your cycle was regular in February and March, right? If this is the first time your cycle has been this long, take a pregnancy test. If you usually get it late, but this time it's a bit more, it could be the change of season, stress, etc. Multifollicular ovaries are more sensitive than usual to changes in the body, stress, weight, physical activity, hormonal fluctuations of the thyroid or other hormones, etc. All the best

Thank you for the answer I received. But when a worry troubles you, even more with loss of life, it prompts me to ask again within your answer: when you say that amniotic embolism can be caused by the rupture of the amniotic membrane, can this happen even when the birth is delayed more than half an hour from the rupture of the membrane? Forgive me if I bothered you. With respect, Kastrioti

Sent by Kastriot, më 10 May 2018 në 10:27

You are not bothering me, even more so as you said, when it comes to loss of life, nothing is too much. The rupture of the amniotic membrane can happen on its own, without the start of labor; it can happen during labor; the doctor can also break it, according to protocol, when the baby's waters no longer help but become an obstacle for the baby's head to descend (put very simply, to be understandable, because the details are very specific). Regardless of when this rupture happens, at that moment, tiny particles of the baby's waters (amniotic fluid, baby's hair, pieces of the baby's skin, etc.) can pass into a blood vessel. This leads to a very dramatic immediate situation, like an anaphylactic shock (like a shock from an allergy), which unfortunately, is not easily corrected and the loss of life in these cases is very common. Certainly, it is favored by intense uterine contractions, advanced maternal age, abdominal trauma, uterine or cervical injuries, etc. No one is clear on the mechanism of action of how such a situation occurs so quickly. But in the literature, there isn't one main cause for this

Hello, Doctor. I wanted to ask you something if possible. I just found out I am pregnant and besides pregnancy, I have also developed a cyst measuring 6 cm. Until I come and get examined by you, would you recommend flying? The doctor who did the ultrasound told me that I cannot handle these travels

Sent by Anxhela, më 11 May 2018 në 10:54

Hello Anxhela, congratulations on the pregnancy. Many pregnancies start accompanied by cysts, which burst at the end of the first trimester. So, it's not something major. The situation changes when the cysts are large, with irregular contours, with non-transparent content, etc. Without knowing such details, I can't say anything more

Sent by Genta, më 26 June 2018 në 05:05

Hello Genta. I am pleased that we are communicating after so long. It's difficult to do consultations over the internet, but usually, such disorders come from polycystic ovary syndrome (you can find materials in English as PCOS). Hello doctor. I wanted to ask you about something, always if you have the possibility to clarify for me as much as I can explain here in this email. I had intercourse for the first time 7 months ago, and from the first day until today, I have terrible pain during the act, both at the entrance and inside, I feel like burning, stabbing pain, as if I want to urinate. This worries me because I can't even enjoy the intercourse. This situation has stressed me a lot actually because it seems like something is wrong with me. I had a visit 2 weeks ago and was told that I am tight and have low secretions. I was given Meliora suppositories and lubricating gel to use. I haven't finished the treatment yet, but I see that even when I want to insert the suppository into the vagina, I have a little pain. Please, if you can, tell me what this pain could be, why does it come?

Sent by Monika, më 19 October 2018 në 14:28

It is an analysis that requires an ultrasound of the 11th week, measurement of two parameters in your blood on the same day as the ultrasound, and entering them into a statistical computer program to calculate the risk. It is done in major laboratories, such as Biocheck, Intermedica, American Hospital, etc

Hello doctor. I'm very sorry to bother you but I wanted to ask you a question that has been troubling me a lot.
I have developed some small bumps inside my vaginal lips and I searched on the internet and it seems to be an HPV infection from what I understood.
I wanted to know how it is contracted and how I might have gotten it since I have only been intimate with my fiancé and no one else, and he only with me..He does not have this concern

Sent by Elona, më 30 October 2018 në 07:42

Hello Elona. I recommend you visit a gynecologist to confirm this and then consult with them about treatment and everything else. However, HPV is a viral infection that is primarily sexually transmitted, but not exclusively. It can be transmitted through wet towels in pools and Jacuzzis, skin-to-skin contact, using clothes (mainly underwear) from an infected person, etc. Do not neglect the visit, in order to limit the spread and to destroy any lesions that have formed. All the best

No, Ana, it's not true. Orgasm is related to vaginal and clitoral stimulation, not to cesarean section. And also with your emotional involvement

Hello Dr! I am a 21-year-old girl and my husband is 31, and we are trying to conceive but I'm not able to. The sperm does not stay inside the vagina not only at the moment but also the next day I feel the sperm leaking out. My menstrual cycle is regular but last month it came a week late because before the onset of the cycle I had brown secretions and sometimes very little black and during this time I also felt burning. The same thing happened to me 2 years ago, I went to the gynecologist and was told that I have cysts on my ovaries and I used the contraceptive Klara for their treatment, and at the next visit, I was told that they had dissolved. Sometimes I have a lot of white secretions with a smell. Is it possible that the cysts have recurred and could they be affecting my ability to get pregnant? What do you suggest? Please reply. Thank you!

Sent by Xhulia, më 23 February 2019 në 06:37

Hello Xhulia, you haven't told me how long you have been trying to get pregnant. If it's less than a year, don't worry. You are very young, it will come, no worries. I cannot know if the cysts have flared up again, this needs to be seen by a doctor. Infections can affect and prevent pregnancy, but their obstructive role is very small. If you feel concerns, make a visit to the doctor. Don't be sad, sometimes it takes a little time for pregnancy to happen. All the best

Hello doctor, I am a 52-year-old lady. About 6 years ago, I had a light hemorrhage every day for 2 months in a row. I visited the gynecologist who suggested taking samples for analysis because the endometrium was slightly enlarged. The biopsy resulted in no problems, I took hormone medication and as soon as I stopped the medication, the hemorrhage started again. After a gynecological visit and a transvaginal ultrasound, I had an endometrial polyp which I removed with hysteroscopy. Again, the biopsy showed no problems. Then, I took hormone medication again for almost a year, I was fine but as soon as I stopped the medication, I needed a curettage which I had done at the maternity hospital, and again the biopsy came out with no problems. I continued hormone treatment for another year because the gynecologist told me that I needed hormonal therapy due to my age and perimenopause. 8 months ago, the gynecologist recommended the Mirena coil, which I had inserted. Since the moment I inserted the coil, for 6 months I had an extremely light hemorrhage every day. It stopped for 2 weeks, then came back very very lightly for 10 days, and for two months I did not have it anymore. Now, it has been a month since I have had a light hemorrhage again, normal red color and odorless, and I visited the gynecologist again. He confirmed that I am in the menopausal period where the ovaries have started to deplete and ultrasonically the genital organs are normal. The endometrium was 8 mm. The ultrasound I did was transvaginal. I have also continuously done breast checks because I have taken a lot of hormone therapy and both the ultrasound and mammography are without any problems. The doctor told me in this situation I could take some extra progesterone but I am worried about the breast because my age is at risk. Should I worry, doctor, about this light hemorrhage I have? A normal liner can last me over 36 hours because it doesn’t fill up, I only change it due to discomfort and personal hygi

Sent by LETA, më 27 March 2019 në 15:38

Hello Leta. I think your question is whether to take additional progesterone or not. It is not correct to diagnose from a comment, no matter how well it is described. For 6 years, you have checked the cavity (interior) of the uterus at least 3 times, even with a biopsy, and nothing suspicious has come out, at least as you describe it. So, I don't think there is something to worry about that little bleeding you have. Of course, you will regularly check with your doctor. As for additional progesterone, since you have had the Mirena for a few months, I don't think it needs to be increased further, as you are already receiving it through it. But this is my impression, not a scientific conclusion, as I have not examined or seen any of your examinations. I believe that periods of calm can alternate with periods of hemorrhagic secretions, until you have completely transitioned into menopause. However, do not lose contact with your doctor for a moment because any bleeding at this age should be carefully evaluated. All the best and I hope I clarified things a bit. Elinda

Hello Dr. Elinda. On December 29, after the last intercourse with my partner, after 15 days, I took a pregnancy test which came out negative, then I got my period on January 15 and in February as well, but I'm still obsessed that I might be pregnant because I get some pink spots outside of my normal cycle. And today, I just tried two more tests that came out negative. From the 29th until today it's been 3 months and I'm still worried... I did a complete blood analysis but not specified to check for the HCG hormone, does this mean that they write it down at the moment whether HCG exists in the body or not???? And I had a gynecological ultrasound just to check the ovaries for these pink signs, I didn't tell the gynecologist that I suspect... Could she have distinguished the case whether I was pregnant or not anyway? Since the last intercourse was in December, so it's been 3 months... Please reply... Thank you

Sent by Megi, më 30 March 2019 në 11:42

Hello Megi! If you were 2/3 months pregnant, there's no chance that the test could turn out negative. It would also be seen on the ultrasound that you had. Whether you told the doctor or not, it doesn't really matter, it would be noticeable. So, stay calm and don't torture yourself, as stress plays hormonal games with us and causes disorders. All the best

Doctor, hello! I am 22 years old. I have a concern and I will try to explain it to you in detail because it is truly problematic for me. Nearly 6 months ago, in November, I started having sexual relations (after more than a year and a half). At first, I had minor concerns which I thought were due to the fact that it had been a long time, but from the second week, I started to experience irritation and often burning after urinating. At the end of the month, I noticed changes in secretions and in smell. I did a vaginal swab analysis which came out very clean. I thought it was a disruption or damage to pH. After two to three weeks, I had another visit during which the doctor also said I was clean but still gave me some ovules (without medication, for pH regulation - ginestra ovul, 3 vials of gine tantum for internal use as well as two oral medications, fungus) after the treatment I no longer had concerns. After passing the cycle of that month, day by day, I started to have a slight irritation again but not always, sometimes on some days I felt burning after urinating and the smell returned again. At these moments, I continue to have increased secretions, thick and very white with a strange smell and at the end of the day I notice that these secretions take on a yellowish color. I am very worried, I don’t know what to do. Since the visit and treatment, I have not had sexual relations and I don’t understand what caused this to return right after the treatment as I have been extremely careful with hygiene

Sent by Eleonora, më 09 April 2019 në 04:49

Hello Eleonora. I think you should have a urine analysis done, even a simple one, to rule out a possible superimposed urinary infection. And also a culture of vaginal secretions, at the very least. It would be good to have these taken during a speculum examination, to ensure accurate collection. If these also come back negative, then more specific infection tests should be done, such as for chlamydia, mycoplasma, or ureaplasma. Take care

For 2 months, in the middle of my menstrual cycle (14 days before the next cycle), I have had discharge in the form of periods but not frequently throughout the day, only 2 or three times at most. This might last a day or even two. I have no other concerns except for frequent urination without burning. It doesn't happen after being intimate with my partner. My cycle is very regular. The same date every month. I am extremely worried. Please, what do you recommend? Thank you

Sent by Ela, më 05 June 2019 në 13:36

Hello, Ela. You have described your concern very well. Spotting or bleeding in the middle of the cycle (ovulation days) falls under physiological causes. So, it's not worrying, it's not related to any pathology. But it occurs in specific cycles, in specific periods. There is no need for treatment for it. If it becomes a psychological concern, have a check-up with the gynecologist more for your peace of mind that there isn't another accompanying cause, than you really need. All the best

Sent by Sonia, më 18 June 2019 në 16:19

Hello, Sonia. I don't know how old you are and what kind of disorders you're talking about. From what I understand, you're probably referring to cycles that occur once in more than 1 month, accompanied by an increase in hair growth. Generally, these are linked to microcystic ovaries (otherwise known as polycystic ovary syndrome). Since it's congenital, there isn't a definitive solution, but rather treatments to reduce the effects (disorders, hirsutism, etc.). Long-term, hormonal or non-hormonal treatments can be done, depending on the overall situation. All the best

Hi. I'm having problems with my menstrual cycle and would like your opinion on it. The problem is that I'm 17 years old and I got my period 6 years ago. Throughout all this time, my periods have been regular, but with significant pain before and during them. But as time goes on, these pains are getting stronger. What could be causing this?

Sent by Eri, më 15 July 2019 në 06:41

Hello, Eri. There's a large portion of girls who experience pain before and during the first days of their menstruation. Usually, this happens due to strong contractions of the uterus to open the cervix and they calm down when the bleeding starts. If the pain increases, meaning it intensifies in the last days of menstruation or even after it has ended, perhaps you should consult with a careful gynecologist together with your mom. There are cases, especially if your mom, sister, etc., have had increasing menstrual pain over the years, we might be dealing with some pathology that is not at all deadly, but can be bothersome. Personally, I don't think it's the latter, but it just needs to be ruled out. All the best

Greetings doctor, I hope you are well. I am 21 years old, 5 months ago I had problems with vaginal infection and after a treatment with Cervugid, I was very much okay. A couple of days ago, I started having white discharges, odorless, painless but very frequent and somewhat hot. Now for the last 2-3 days, the discharges have continued but with a yellow or greenish color. Sometimes with an odor, sometimes without. Also, I have had pain on the left side of the uterus which last time happened the same way when I had an infection. Even during urination, I feel that I have discharges and I urinate frequently and only a little urine. I was suggested again the same medication, Cervugid or Melioren. What would you suggest? What more can you tell me to help me?

Hello Ela. I think that besides the vaginal infection, this time you also have a urinary infection. I would definitely recommend doing simple analyses and cultures of urine and vaginal secretions, so that the proper treatment can be chosen. It needs to be properly addressed so that the infection does not recur. All the best

Sent by Ela, më 16 July 2019 në 10:15

Menstrual blood carries away the medication that is placed vaginally, reducing absorption and limiting the effectiveness of the treatment. It would be better to take it after the menstrual period, so as not to interrupt it

Hello Dr. Elinda,
I am 20 years old, have been married for a year. My partner and I want a baby. I have been married for a year and 3 months and have been trying to get pregnant. I have been examined and everything seems fine, I have also done a urine culture and that came out good, but I did a Pap test and it showed a slight infection. Is the infection the reason why I am not getting pregnant?.. Thank you very much, good work

Sent by Ermira Gjoni, më 01 Agust 2019 në 17:20

No, Ermira, it isn't. I don't know what analyses you have done, but I recommend you also do a sperm analysis of your husband. Maybe you have done this as well. And your hormones on the 2nd-3rd-4th day of your cycle. And checking of the tubes. These are the examinations done after a year of not getting pregnant. You are very young, it will surely happen very soon. All the best

Hello Dr. Elinda. I would like information about the hormonal tests I need to do (which ones specifically), as I have noticed the appearance of some acne in the beard area and an increase in hair in some areas of the body. I emphasize that I have done an ultrasound and everything is normal. I just wanted to do the hormonal tests. Thank you!

Sent by Alda, më 17 October 2019 në 03:22

Hello Alda, for this issue it is good to analyze both female and male hormones, to see and compare not only if the values are within the normal range, but also the ratios between them. The basics are the levels of estradiol, testosterone, and DHEAS. But it is more accurate to do a complete assessment along with FSH, LH, 17-hydroxy/progesterone. These provide a clearer picture if there are variations or hormonal issues associated with increased hairiness in females. All the best

Hello, my problem is related to menstruation; I've always had somewhat irregular periods, but I haven't had health problems or concerns. Usually, I get my period once every 3 months or once every 4 months. Is this worrisome?

Sent by Ina, më 04 November 2019 në 07:28

Hello, Ina. Generally, this type of cycle that comes once every 2-3-4 months is related to a slightly different form and function of the ovaries. There is nothing to worry about, over the years it may or may not completely regulate itself. However, it is good to have at least once every 3 months, to maintain the proper size of the uterus and continuous reproduction. If you want, you can consult with a gynecologist nearby, to see if you might need any vitamins or specific care to help. All the best

Hello Doctor,
I suspect that I suffer from vaginismus, please what would you suggest to me in this case?

Sent by Armanda, më 26 November 2019 në 14:30

Hello. Until you have reached such a conclusion, are you familiar with what vaginismus is? In these cases, a consultation with a gynecologist is recommended, as well as a very careful gynecological visit to rule out other causes that may affect vaginal pain. Afterwards, the doctor may advise you on the exercises you need to do, to accept vaginal touching or careful penetration gradually. If the doctor finds during the consultation that the basis is an event from childhood or early youth, they may advise you to consult a psychologist. All the best

Hello doctor!
I have a problem. I have been married for 2 years. Our problem is that we cannot have intercourse. I am the "guilty" one because I am very afraid. We try every time and it's all in vain. When my partner tries to get close, I tense up so much and get scared and pull away. I have researched and thought that I might be suffering from vaginismus. But I'm constantly afraid and don't know what to do

Sent by Amanda, më 01 December 2019 në 13:48

Hello Amanda. Unfortunately, fear is a problem that becomes more difficult to manage as time goes on. And it's not the gynecologist who can help you, but the psychologist. They will try to understand the cause of the fear and teach you mechanisms to overcome it. Go together with your spouse, as you both need to cooperate. All the best

Hello doctor. I wanted to explain my situation; I am 23 years old and have been trying to get pregnant for a year and a half. Then I did some tests and an ultrasound. The ultrasound showed that I had microcysts on my ovaries. Whereas the hormonal tests generally came out fine except for the TSH hormone which was a bit high. Then I did thyroid tests to check it more thoroughly and everything turned out to be normal. I have consulted with the doctor and he has recommended a medicine called Dikirogen to use for about 3 to 6 months. Also, I want to point out that I haven't had my period for over 2 months.. Is this something worrisome or does it come from the microcysts? And is the medication effective for the problem I have or would you recommend something else? I want to emphasize that even when I did get my period, it caused me a lot of pain. What do you recommend?

Sent by Suela, më 17 December 2019 në 16:59

Hello Suela. Polycystic ovary syndrome is not something exceptional, but it is characterized by microcysts in the ovaries, cycle disorders, and an increase in male hormones. Myo-inositol (which contains Dikirogen) is a dietary supplement that tries to help in regulating hormones, and consequently the cycle, but not always successfully. So you might continue it for a few more months. If after 6 months of taking it, the cycle continues the same, it makes no sense to continue. For the infertility issue, a more extensive check is needed to rule out other contributing factors. But you are very young and I don't think it is something to worry about. Anyway, the maximum you can wait to do the other checks is 6 months. All the best

Hello Jona, don't be sad, my dear, but I will tell you the same thing. In the first years up to 17-18 years old, periods can be irregular, sometimes more and sometimes less. It's not something to worry about. If even after 18 years old it continues like this, then you can consult a doctor to see if you might have small cysts on your ovaries that cause irregularities. It's something that can be resolved and it doesn't affect your life, pregnancy, relationship, etc. Have a good day

Sent by Elona, më 18 January 2020 në 06:32

Hello Elona. IgG are the older antibodies that the body creates after coming into contact with an infection, and these indicate that yes, you have gone through this infection. Hello Filloreta. With one ovary, you can get pregnant again and the side of the ovary (left or right) does not affect the baby's gender. Do not worry. This does not mean that the third one will be a boy. But be sure that it is not related to which ovary releases the egg. All the best

I have always had a lot of pain during the cycle, often I have used OTC pain relievers or ibuprofen but not regularly, I have not shown an infection in the last tests nor do I have any current problems. This time I am also feeling pain at the bottom of my stomach although my period ended 2 days ago. I hope I have been somewhat clear in my description, thank you for your time!

Sent by Lorela, më 03 April 2020 në 09:37

Hello Lorela. Your young age almost rules out major problems. However, if it's been a year, you might wait another 1-2 months for this situation to pass, and then get a check-up and hormonal analysis from a gynecologist. This period from September-November and then March has been very stressful (earthquakes, virus, lockdown, etc.) and has been accompanied by many cycle irregularities or changes in duration in regular cycles. Besides stress, it could be related to hormonal imbalances of prolactin, thyroid, and in very very rare cases, it might indicate an ovarian disorder related to the ovarian reserve. But the latter is unlikely to be the case. Anyway, once this period is over, I would advise a check-up with the gynecologist. All the best and take care of yourself

Sent by Anna, më 06 April 2020 në 06:35

Hello Anna, Antibiotic treatment cannot be continued for several months. Along with the infection, antibiotics also destroy the normal vaginal flora, leading to vaginal dryness and disruption of the vaginal pH. Without a visit and a prescription, I can only recommend flora regulators, like Daygin ovules, or Echigin gel, once in the evening for 7-10 days. After that, you may try to have intercourse again. And do not take medications without recommendations or for a long period. All the best

Sent by Besa, më 08 April 2020 në 02:58

Hello Besa. Normally, if you're taking a multivitamin like Pregnacare, it contains the sufficient amount of folic acid that is necessary to be increased during pregnancy. If your doctor, depending on your anamnesis (previous history) or your analyses, has thought that you need an addition, that is another matter. You should ask them this question. Wishing you a healthy pregnancy

I have been trying with my husband but I can't seem to get pregnant. Recently, I had an ultrasound and it showed I had cysts. Greetings. You are very young, you will surely succeed again, just as you did the first time. Sometimes it just takes more time. You have not specified how long you have been trying. If it has been a few months, do not worry, try not to turn it into a "job" and do not dwell on it. Stress often becomes an extremely hindering factor. If it has been a year or more since you have been trying (which I do not believe, because you must have waited a few months after the abortion), tests should be done according to the protocol. I think by then the test will definitely come out positive. Good luck

Hello dear, for 3 years I have been trying to get pregnant. A year ago, I had a miscarriage, I have done anti-Müllerian hormone tests and the result was low. My question is, can I use Clomid? I emphasize that I do not ovulate and my ovaries are underdeveloped!

Sent by Rita, më 20 April 2020 në 10:04

Hello Rita. In the case of low AMH, there are several theories on whether or not to use Clomid. There are studies that suggest it can be used, especially in younger ages. However, the majority agree that if the egg reserve (AMH) is low, it should not be used, so as not to waste the remaining eggs on a procedure that has a low success rate. I don't know your age or history, but I would recommend setting a limit on how long you are willing to wait. And if you're going to do stimulation, it's better to save it for in vitro fertilization, which also has a higher chance of success. Anyway, this is a superficial answer. Every detail affecting infertility needs to be carefully considered to reach a clear conclusion. All the best

Sent by Maria , më 02 May 2020 në 04:31

Hello Maria. It's most likely an infection. If it's purulent, there's a high probability it's a bacterial infection. But it's good to do an analysis to choose the right antibiotic, always assuming you don't have a reaction and don't have a contraindication to using it. It would also be good to do a simple urine test, just to be sure. All the best

However, over the following days, I experienced bleeding mostly when urinating! I am so stressed that I can't distinguish whether it's my cycle or bleeding that should concern me, even though my cycle has been irregular, the amount has been normal, and the duration 5-6 days! Sent by Blerina, më 03 May 2020 në 09:15

If this bleeding is only during urination and does not normally leave traces in the underwear or internally, it may be hemorrhagic urinary cystitis, which is usually accompanied by burning or pain at the end of urination. If it's not like this, but you are sure that it is vaginal bleeding, not urinary, it might be a disorder, it could be a cyst, there could be various reasons. I do not think it is worrisome, but we always recommend keeping it under control. All the best

Is there something worrying since I had an abortion 4 months ago because the baby was undeveloped. Thank you for your answer

Sent by Leonora Daci , më 23 May 2020 në 00:26

Hello Leonora. There are two possibilities:
1. You might be pregnant, but very early on, which is why the test shows a faint line and the bleeding that followed might not be your period but implantation bleeding. I would advise you to take a bHCG tomorrow, which is the pregnancy hormone, to confirm this or not, and depending on the results, consult your doctor for follow-up.
2. There might have been a minimal amount of bleeding that caused the test to be slightly positive. The beta sequence of blood hemoglobin and beta hCG (pregnancy hormone) are similar, so we might have a false positive test result (meaning, it appears positive when there is no pregnancy).
Either way, the blood test I described will clarify this. All the best

Firstly, I want to ask if there is any analysis that shows whether I have or have had HPV?
Secondly, during a gynecological visit, the gynecologist told me that the cervix looks a bit eroded. Could this be cervical erosion?

Sent by Evelina, më 05 June 2020 në 05:46

Hello. There is an analysis for this, called HPV Typing. The answer is Negative (you are not a carrier of HPV, so the virus DNA is not extracted), positive low risk (you are a carrier, but of HPV types that have low oncogenicity and are not dangerous) and HPV high risk (carrier of high-risk HPV, for which there is a special and very careful follow-up protocol).
Of course, it might just be a simple erosion of the cervix. I would recommend a pap test if it has been more than a year since you last had one. All the best

I am afraid of some disease because I use daily pads a lot and I don't know what is the cause of the cycle delay. Also, I have continuous white secretions with an odor. Please doctor, what do you suggest... Thank you, have a nice day!

Sent by Livja, më 22 July 2020 në 22:43

Hello. There is no connection between the use of daily pads and menstrual cycle disorders. With an infection, it might be possible, but not with the cycle. Meanwhile, an infection does not block the cycle either. For secretions, you can have a visit/analysis of the secretions. As for the cycle, you should consult with a gynecologist and have an ultrasound, as at least once in three months the cycle should occur. But these last few months, we have seen much more irregularities than in other years, apparently due to the situation we are going through. I wish you health

Hello, the one writing to you is Elona, and yesterday I had an ultrasound to see the development of the baby. The baby was fine, but my gynecologist told me that there is a problem - there is a gap in the placenta, and she prescribed me Utrogestan 200mg and told me to stay on bed rest. Is this a serious problem and how much does it affect the development of the baby?

Sent by Elona , më 23 September 2020 në 07:10

Greetings. If what you are describing has to do with a hematoma (detachment of the placenta from its implantation site), it is something that happens quite often and in most cases, it goes very well with rest and medication. However, it depends on the age of the placenta, the size of the hematoma, special circumstances that may favor miscarriage, etc. Just be careful, avoid straining, and have a recheck with the doctor according to his instructions. I am convinced that it will go very well. Have a good pregnancy

Hello! I am 19 years old. In February, I had a difficult health period, and my period was delayed by almost 1 month and a half. It later normalized, but after another stressful situation that I went through in June, my period has been coming very frequently and lasts more than 7 days. Now, my period comes 5-7 days after it has ended. What do you suggest I do since I am very worried? Is there a possibility of developing anemia from this situation?
Thank you for your time!

Hello Ela. You need to get checked out because you might become anemic the way you describe it. Sometimes we can have such disorders. Since it's recurring, you should have a gynecological ultrasound. Don't underestimate it! All the best

Hello DR,
I am a 22-year-old girl.
I want to express my concern...
I have done a Vaginal Smear Analysis
And the result is as follows:
Epithelial Cells: Many
Leukocytes: 15/20 Field
Trichomonas: Negative
Candida: Negative
Other Bacteria: Some
Lactobacillus Spp: None
Whiff Test: Negative
I have also done an examination of the Vaginal Secretion Culture where it showed:
Normal Bacterial Flora
I have vaginal secretions with a yellow color.
I have been sexually active since November last year.
I have experienced discomfort like bone pain and a headache with a temperature of 38.5 degrees C and a slight bleeding from below but I am not sure if it is from the Pubis or Anus for one day. The first time it happened to me was on July 25, 2020, and the second on November 20, 2020.
Please suggest a course of action for me to follow; I would be very grateful.
I need your help.
All the best

Hello. I think that first of all, an analysis for gonorrhea should be done, mostly to rule it out. If it's negative, you need a good treatment based on the visit and the clinic you present, more than from the response of the previous analyses. Goodbye

I am in the 36th week of pregnancy and had a visit with my doctor. I asked about giving birth and he told me that my age, 31 years old, makes it difficult for a natural birth because the muscles have lost their elasticity. Please give me your opinion because I would like to have a natural birth

Sent by Margarita, më 21 November 2020 në 08:44

Hello! I don't know what the doctor meant. If the baby is not too big, if it will be well positioned and there are no other contraindications, there is no reason not to try to give birth naturally. Good luck!

Replay from Dr. Elinda Gjata, më 21 November 2020 në 11:55

I am in week 36 of pregnancy, the baby's weight was 2,650 grams and according to the doctor, natural birth is difficult at the age of 31 when it is the first birth. So far, I have gained 14kg and started the pregnancy at 57kg

Sent by Margarita, më 21 November 2020 në 12:42

I cannot discuss your doctor's word. He knows you better. Maybe he has noticed some disproportion of the baby with the pelvic bones. If the only cause is the age of 31, I say that it is not necessarily a condition for delivery by surgery. I don’t know much more to tell you

Hello doctor!
I am a 21-year-old girl and for the first time, I had sexual intercourse about a month ago and I experienced bleeding which didn't last long, only two days.
Then, I had sex again before my period was due, and I also experienced bleeding. During the intercourse, I had pain, difficulty breathing, and a cough.
The last time I had sex was a day after my period had ended, where I also experienced bleeding, but this time I felt really bad, my vision darkened, and I felt very weak in my legs and right arm, I had difficulty breathing, and I had a very strong cough. Please, I am very worried, what could be causing this?

Sent by Klea, më 24 November 2020 në 02:16

Hello. Sometimes it happens like this. Don't worry, there's nothing pathological if the bleeding continues. You might have a vaginal yeast infection, which makes the vagina more delicate and prone to tearing and bleeding. On the other hand, this is becoming a psychological stress factor and seems to be accompanied by panic attacks (I'm not a specialist in the field, but I have an idea). I would recommend a check-up with a gynecologist, more to ease your worries than because I think you really need it. All the best

Hello, how are you
I did a urine analysis and it showed I have a urinary infection, from the analysis I was given antibiotics and betadine (for rinsing)
After I finished the medication, I did the analysis again and still had a urinary infection and took the same antibiotic again.
I was relieved but still have problems
With the information I have read, the symptoms I have like (vaginal discharge or secretion, burning urine not always, irritation (which after using the betadine I no longer have), and itching I think I have a fungus or something else.
I visited the gynecologist today and she said that two analyses need to be done to see which bacteria causes this.
I do not consume enough water and I am sexually active.
Please what do you suggest?!

Hello doctor.. I want to know if abortion in the early weeks of pregnancy at the age of 20-25 years old is dangerous.. Thank you

Sent by Klea, më 28 November 2020 në 04:27

Hello! In what sense is it dangerous? For the baby, very dangerous, since it destroys it. For your mental health, again dangerous; it's hard to forget and to live with such an idea that will return whenever you feel bad. For the body? If done after certain analyses and checks and if it goes without complications, it is not dangerous. I emphasize, if done within strict medical criteria and by professional doctors. The questions that patients ask me when they are in doubt about whether to continue the pregnancy or not are mainly related to future pregnancies, whether this abortion will affect them. And who can say that for sure? There are people who have never had abortions and have a lot of difficulty achieving a pregnancy; there are others who have given birth to a child and cannot achieve a second pregnancy. There are traumatic abortions that leave consequences... Always, I give this advice to patients: if you have just found out, give yourself time, do not rush to make a decision that is irreversible. Look at all the chances you can give this new life to continue. And if there are none, consult with professional doctors to make this very difficult moment as easy as possible. Do not forget, the physical part is the simplest, the spiritual part often lingers long..

I did a swab and it came out: pH=5.5; lactobacilli are missing; candida, trichomonas, and bacterial vaginosis are negative. I had a lot of leukocytes and polymorphic bacteria. I did a culture and there were normal bacterial flora, negative for gonococcus. From the results, it was said that it comes from anaerobic bacteria, and I was told to take flagyl for a week 500mg x 2 times a day
However, I have taken flagyl orally a few months ago with the same dose and did not have an effect
Please, can you give me a treatment about what I should take since it was quite loaded thank you

Secondly, I am quite busy. I respond when I have the opportunity and space. You cannot send 20 messages. One is enough. I just need to have some time in the heavy workload that characterizes a doctor's day. Farewell

Hello Doctor,
I am 24 years old, I have been having a problem with genital warts for a year, I have undergone a series of check-ups. I have used Condiline but the warts have not yet been removed. My partner has the same problem, he has only one on the head of his penis, and after intercourse, it once bled, and the wart seemed like it was breaking off.
I have been trying to get pregnant for a few months. And I have not been able to. This situation worries me a lot. Do genital warts affect the fact that I can't get pregnant? Thank you very much

Sent by Enkeleda, më 03 December 2020 në 17:52

No, Enkeleda, it does not affect the achievement of pregnancy. They are different things. I recommend you do a Pap test if you haven't already. This also has nothing to do with pregnancy, but with the control for the virus in the cervix

Hello doctor, I am a 38-year-old woman and I have a problem. Four months ago, I went through COVID-19 and, of course, had to take a lot of antibiotics. A month later, I was treated for bacteria, parasites, and candida after doing a stool culture and once again used antibiotics. After using these, I started feeling discomfort in my vagina and sometimes accompanied by thick, yogurt-like discharge. I went to the gynecologist and was given a 1 ovule 3 in 1 which I used for 7 days. I no longer have the discharge, but sometimes I feel discomfort. On the day of ovulation, I always had pain, but this month, on the 14th day of my cycle, every 4-5 days, I had lower abdomen and middle pain. I do a Pap test and ultrasound every year, this time the gynecologist said I will do it every 2 years, the last time was a year ago. I would like to know why I am having recurrent pains like during ovulation, and I am 3 days before my period, what visits or tests should I do. Thank you, I wish you a good day

Greetings doctor, many people are satisfied with your explanations. I wanted to ask you because I am very confused. My last sexual intercourse was on October 15, and on October 22, I had my menstruation, it was very light but I had it. I suspected I might be pregnant and had an ultrasound around November 10, the gynecologist told me that the uterus is fine and that nothing could be seen. I felt a bit of discomfort, some pain near the tailbone area when I bent over to pick something up. On November 26, I had my menstrual cycle again, but again it was light. Two days after the cycle, I did another test, it was negative. And from there I thought I was not pregnant. As days go by, I notice that my abdomen is enlarging, especially from the tailbone to the bottom of the stomach. Now it's December and for 3 or 4 days I have had white, slightly thick, not transparent secretions like milk... is it possible that I am pregnant?? And when is the time to do another test. Please answer me if it's not too much trouble

Sent by Fjoralba, më 07 December 2020 në 12:55

Hello. The test would show that since the 20th of November onwards if you had become pregnant in October. Anyway, the belly does not grow at all in the first three months, even if you were. So, to be completely calm, do a bhCG (blood test). If it's negative, stay calm

I would suggest waiting for your cycle and see how you feel after it. If the pain continues, I would recommend an ultrasound to rule out any cysts. I think you should be careful with regulating the normal intestinal flora, as it can also contribute to abdominal discomfort. Simply put, consume yogurt, as it contains lactobacilli. Or take it in pharmaceutical form. Take care

You can never be sure if the treatment you take without a check-up is the right one. The infection that bothers you is not necessarily related to the obstacle to pregnancy. Sent by Klaudia, më 26 January 2021 në 12:01

The genital area cannot catch the virus. The presence or absence of the virus, as well as its typing, are molecular genetic analyses. Consult your gynecologist. They must evaluate whether you need to undergo colposcopy and other examinations, according to the protocol. Try to live healthily to boost your immunity. You need to be followed up periodically. All the best

Please tell me if there is something wrong and what I should do. I haven't had any concerns, only that I do the pap test every year. I have had this HPV in the past years, I took medicine, and this time it appeared again, please I am worried

Sent by Klaudia, më 26 January 2021 në 13:44

Do not worry, there is nothing unsolvable. The virus, as you may have understood from the last year we are going through, does not have a cure, just vitamins to boost the immune system so it does not allow the virus to act. If a low-grade lesion has started, you need to consult with your doctor how the follow-up will continue, at what intervals, and a colposcopy plus biopsy should be done (if the doctor finds it reasonable) and then decide whether a minimal intervention is necessary or not. So, as long as you are in contact with the doctor, nothing bad will happen

I am 4 weeks pregnant and have had vaginal yeast infection for 3 days (it recurs from time to time). I am using Eva Lactic vaginal tablets; are they harmful to the baby or can I continue the treatment for a week? Thank you if you can give me an answer as I am worried

Sent by Alda, më 15 February 2021 në 09:43

If the doctor has recommended it, you definitely should take it. It seems like a pH regulator for the vagina and lactobacilli, so it's not an actual medication. Anyway, for everything, consult with the doctor who knows your history. Reduce sweets and yeasts, as sugar is the main food for fungi

Good evening, doctor
I took the emergency pill at the beginning of the cycle and had 3 days of bleeding like a period... Now, according to the dates of the other months, I have a delay of 8 days... Is the delay normal? Thank you

Sent by suela, më 19 February 2021 në 14:39

In cases of irregularity from taking pills, it might be normal. But we always need to make sure that there isn't a pregnancy that has been missed by the pill. Even though the possibility is small after the bleeding that has occurred

Hello doctor,
I am 23 years old and on February 12th we tried for a pregnancy. My cycle is every 34 days and knowing that February has 28 days, I did not get my period in February and it came on March 5th. I had many signs that resembled pregnancy symptoms. I did a test 1 week before expecting my menstruation day and it came out negative. This time I had very little of it and almost couldn't wash it off in water (not the color of blood but pink) and it lasted 4 days instead of the 5 days of my normal cycle. I have pain at the bottom of my belly on the left side and somewhere towards the spine but on the left side.
Is it possible to be a pregnancy? Or since I had my period there's no possibility. Please reply if it doesn't bother you

Sent by Fiori, më 09 March 2021 në 03:47

If the cycle has not been as usual, but lighter, you should do a blood test: bhcg (pregnancy hormone). If it is negative, it is impossible for you to be pregnant

Hello doctor. I am 28 years old and for almost two years I have been experiencing recurrent Candida, usually every 4-5 months. I have taken ovules as a previous treatment or antifungal cream. This month I have had symptoms again, where I mostly have thick secretions and in the last few days, they have been greenish to yellow in color. I did swabs and culture and again it showed Candida Albicans and normal bacterial flora. Please, what treatment can I take? Also, my partner has had some concerns like redness, etc., should he also take treatment? Thank you for your time, have a good day

Sent by Ela, më 10 March 2021 në 06:53

Hello Ela. Chronic fungus is quite annoying and turns into a psychological problem, besides being a local one. There are treatment schemes for it, but of course, they are not provided here. You need to have a good consultation with your doctor about this. And to do the relevant analyses that may show high sugar levels or low immunity. But these are also recommended by your doctor.
Here I can tell you that fungus multiplies in an environment rich in sugar (sweets, dough, fruits in excess, etc.), in cases of significant immunity decrease, after taking antibiotics or some other medications. Take care

I am currently abroad and cannot make a visit.
I have been trying to get pregnant for 3 months. My periods have been regular, always coming a week early.
The last time, on February 27th, I got them.
On the first day, there was very little, almost pink in color.
On the second day, I got about half of what I usually get. From the third day until yesterday, I have been getting 2-3 drops every day.
Today a bit more. Could I be pregnant or could there be another problem?
If you can help me, please, because I am very anxious.
Thank you

Hello. I am 29 years old and have been trying to get pregnant for 8 months. Before we started trying, I had a cycle of 24-26 days. Since we have been trying, my cycle has been 38 days. One month ago, I did not have sexual intercourse and my cycle lasted for 24 days. From a visit I had, no problems were diagnosed except for a urinary infection for which I received medication. Can you tell me what might be affecting the lengthening of my cycle and why I am not able to get pregnant?

Sent by Ina, më 20 July 2021 në 18:10

Hello. If you have been checked and told that you are fine, this means there is no organic cause for the delay (cyst, mass, etc.). It remains a functional cause, primarily hormonal, most likely based on stress. Perhaps in the terrain of a microcystic ovary. But these are just theoretical assumptions. The reason you have not become pregnant could be due to several reasons. I recommend that you wait up to a year from when you started trying and then, together with your partner, consult a specialist doctor for the relevant tests. All the best

Hello, I am 23 weeks pregnant. I just got my blood test results here in Germany, and everything came out fine, no problems, my blood type was Rh D negative. I was searching on Google about it and it appears to be a very rare group, I find little information.
Can you inform me more about it and how it affects the baby?
Thank you

Sent by Enkeleda, më 21 July 2021 në 05:52

Enkeleda, Rh-negative individuals make up about 20% of the population, so it's not that rare. This means you don't have the Rh factor. Your spouse should also have this factor checked. If he is like you, there is no risk for either you or the baby. If he is Rh-positive, the baby might be as well. Therefore, at week 28, an anti-Rh immunoglobulin is administered, which is repeated if after birth it is confirmed that the baby is Rh-positive. This is done within the first 72 hours after birth, so that the next pregnancy does not have any problems for the offspring. Discuss this with your doctor when you go, they will explain the details to you

Hello Doctor,
I am writing to you about a problem of mine.
I thank you in advance for your help.
I am 12 weeks pregnant.
In the 6th week, I underwent some immunological tests and the results were as follows:
CMV IgG 5.56
CMV IgM 0.208
RUBELLA IgG 136 IU/mL
RUBELLA IgM 0.435
I was treated for 8 days with Aciclostad 400 mg and 2 weeks after the treatment, I repeated the tests with the following results:
CMV IgG 5.34
RUBELLA IgG 382 IU/mL
I have been revaccinated for measles and rubella, which is repeated for a portion of the population 4 years ago.
I want to know if there are any problems for the child based on the above test results?

Sent by Brunilda , më 21 July 2021 në 12:45

Hello. I don't know if the tests were done in the same laboratory or not, because there can be differences from one to another, depending on the laboratory kits and methodology used. Anyway, you are not going through any of these infections, you just have old antibodies. The analysis sheet needs to be looked at, history taken, etc. I don't think there will be problems for the child from the IgG antibodies

Negative for an intraepithelial lesion or malignancy. Cervicitis. Immature metaplasia. Dyskeratosis. What is your opinion? I am 25 years old. Thank you very much

Sent by Kristina, më 26 July 2021 në 10:31

The Pap test has come back negative for suspicious or malignant cells (in layman's terms), but you have an infection. The culture of the secretions has also identified the cause, which needs to be treated. Nothing is unsolvable. You simply need to follow the checks recommended by your doctor. All the best

I have used suppositories and creams from below, but nothing has worked. Please, what should I do? Thank you

Sent by Majlinda mejdolli , më 29 July 2021 në 13:56

Hello Majlinda! A careful visit from the gynecologist will surely help you, along with a urine, feces, and a fresh vaginal swab analysis. If you have not had a Pap smear, I would recommend that as well. If you have not checked recently, also do a fasting blood sugar and two hours after eating, to exclude any glucose intolerance, which often leads to recurrent fungal infections, with redness and local irritation. Then we would decide if you need medication

The bleeding varies from cycle to cycle. Some months it comes very little, almost like spotting, whereas other months it's normal. I am worried about what the cause might be? Usually, what you are describing is related to microcystic ovaries. It doesn't seem worrying to me. If it goes 2 years without achieving pregnancy, you should undergo examinations according to the protocol. You will definitely have children, sometimes it just takes a bit of time and effort to achieve it

Thank you for your response and for your time. I wanted to ask for your opinion regarding my husband as well. He has done a sperm analysis (this is the only test he has done, nothing else) and the results were not as expected. The first analysis showed a sperm count of 3 million and normal forms 1% (volume and speed are okay). Based on these results, he took FertilPro for three months. After the second analysis, the results were that the sperm count had increased from 3 to 5 million, but the normal forms were still at 1%. The doctor said that the best method would be in-vitro, but after my husband insisted on trying treatment first and not immediately resorting to that method, the doctor prescribed NovoFertil again for three months. My husband has been taking the second treatment for a month now. I wanted to ask if the current treatment he is taking is the right one, and how long does this kind of treatment last and what could be the next step? Thank you!

Sent by Xhesi, më 09 Agust 2021 në 06:20

There are always several factors in the delay of pregnancy. Oligoteratospermia (low number and damaged morphology) are sufficient causes to hinder/delay pregnancy. The treatments you have received and are taking are multivitamins with antioxidants. Their effect is felt after 3-6 months from the start of the treatment. I wish you to have the long-awaited news as soon as possible

Sent by Eli, më 14 Agust 2021 në 12:00

Hello. From experience, I would recommend repeating the AMH for assurance, as well as the entire hormonal axis, including TSH and Prolactin, since such a low AMH and normal FSH don't really match. However, FSH starts to increase after a decrease in FSH, but one year or so with normal FSH… needs to be re-evaluated

Hello doctor!
I am 20 years old. Five years ago, I experienced menstrual disorders (heavy and difficult cycle, with bleeding that lasted over 30 days), as a result of which I was diagnosed with anemia. After visiting the gynecologist, it was found that the cause were the cysts I had on my ovaries. I used drops (Methylergometrine, to stop the bleeding and 10 days of hormonal therapy-progesterone), as well as therapy for anemia.
The same situation is repeating now. I would kindly ask for your advice. Should I start hormonal therapy again, since the doctor at that time had said that using hormones is not preferable but there was no other solution.
Thank you in advance for your answer.
Best regards!

Sent by Xhulia, më 21 Agust 2021 në 08:54

Hello Xhulia! The therapy should be determined by the doctor who is following you or with whom you will consult. After 5 years, it might be the same as before, but there could also be another cause. So, you can't take hormones without a check-up. On the other hand, if needed and if the doctor deems it necessary, you can take them without fear. Of course, it's best to use as few medications as possible, but when they're needed, they're needed. Anemia is not a small matter…

Sent by Danjela , më 04 October 2021 në 03:47

Hello Danjela. You are only 24 years old, of course you will have children, as many as you want even. Polycystic ovary sometimes becomes quite capricious and bothers you for a long time, but I assure you that you will definitely get pregnant. Just don't know when: this month, this year or later. Clomid is a medication and none is without side effects. So I don't advise you to take it. First, wait another 6 months. If after a year pregnancy has not occurred, then go to a gynecologist. He will give you the analyses that are recommended in this case, and only then, with careful monitoring, might recommend taking medications. Don't be sad and don't rush. It will come, believe me!

Also, now I am feeling symptoms like before my period as always, but I am worried if there is a possibility of pregnancy when having this kind of discharge and if it is normal. Thank you

Sent by Nita, më 06 October 2021 në 13:22

Hello Nita. If it has been a month and a half since the suspected relationship, you can take a pregnancy test. If it's negative, stay calm. The condom has a 1-3% chance of failure as a contraceptive method, so there's a 97-99% chance you're not pregnant. Check if the secretions are an infection. All the best

The chance of getting pregnant in the first month of trying is a maximum of 20-25%. So, it's nothing extraordinary or problematic if it hasn't happened. Of course, you'll try again. Hello. I don't know if you have children (birth or abortions), if you are taking medication for something, if there has been a change in your lifestyle over the last 5-6 months, etc. You need to see a doctor, discuss your history, and depending on that, it is decided what you need. All the best

Hello again, no I don't have children (nor abortions).
It's just that this has never happened to me before, hence this change has worried me

Again, it's necessary to go to the doctor, to rule out any cysts or hormonal imbalances. Depending on them, it proceeds further

Hello. Excuse me for the bother but I want to know what medication I can use for headaches during pregnancy because I have strong headaches and using paracetamol I am afraid that it is preventing me from getting pregnant. We are trying to conceive but there are days when my head hurts and I take a 200 mg dose of paracetamol and in the end, as a result, I get my period on the scheduled date. Do the medications have to do with not getting pregnant and what should I use, please?

Sent by Xheni, më 28 October 2021 në 05:49

200 mg of paracetamol is a dose for children, it does nothing for severe headache pain. You can take 500 or 1000 mg to be effective. Taking paracetamol has no connection with not getting pregnant. If that were the case, women wouldn’t take contraceptives, but paracetamol so as not to get pregnant!!!!

Doctor, how are you? Is there a connection between COVID vaccination and delayed periods?

Sent by Sara, më 29 October 2021 në 09:25

Yes, there are many girls who have reported delays ranging from a few days to several weeks after the Covid vaccine. Personally, I think stress is the main factor causing this delay, as theoretically, there is no reason for it to be directly linked to the menstrual cycle. However, in the following months, the cycle has returned to normal

Hello! I wanted to share my problem with you! Yesterday, I had unprotected sex with my fiancé. During the act, I experienced bleeding and I was expecting my period (November 8-9). I think he ejaculated inside. Is it a sign of pregnancy that my periods have stopped, or are they just delayed? Should I take the morning-after pill?

Sent by Klea, më 07 November 2021 në 03:33

If you have a regular cycle, there is no chance of getting pregnant on these days. Theoretically. I don't think there is a need to take the emergency pill under these conditions. But in medicine, nothing is 100% accurate

Hello doctor, I have a problem with my vagina. It seems that after having sexual intercourse with my boyfriend, some problems have appeared. I have severe itching since that day, and sometimes the itching stops but more often I have so much itching that it leads me to scratch until it hurts. I also have heat, redness, and many small white bumps. Could you tell me what I have or help me with some medicine?

Sent by Ela, më 19 November 2021 në 11:35

It is most likely a fungal infection. But this is a possibility. You need to make a visit or at least take a vaginal swab to get a medication

Hello doctor. This month my period is delayed for about a week. Usually, my cycle lasts 4-5 days and I have a regular 28-day cycle. It rarely happens to me that it is delayed for 2-3 days. Last month I had intense sexual intercourse but my boyfriend always ejaculated outside. Besides this, I also have normal white and yellow secretions. I emphasize that last month was very stressful. I wanted to know your opinion on this and what you suggest I do

Sent by Sara, më 24 November 2021 në 13:10

It's very likely that the delay is due to stress. But I would suggest doing a pregnancy test, just in case

But since I started the antibiotic, the baby moves very little and very rarely. Before I took the antibiotic, the baby moved normally and often. Is it possible that the antibiotic is causing the baby to move much less and more rarely? Please reply if you can as I am very worried about the baby. Thank you

Hello Dr. Elinda. I am Xhulja from Korçë. I have a 9-year-old son. When my son was 3 years old, I got pregnant again but I miscarried. After the miscarriage, I have had a blocked menstrual cycle for 6 years. I went to the doctor and was told that I have ovarian cysts and was recommended to use contraceptives. Last month, I had the same problem again, with a delay of many days, but then I had a lot of hemorrhaging, almost as if it lasted for 3 weeks, and it was very heavy. This has happened to me about 3 times. I went to the doctor and was given medication to stop the hemorrhaging, and he told me that this time I am fine. What do you recommend I do, Doctor, because I want to have another child and why is this happening?

Sent by Xhulja, më 05 December 2021 në 11:30

Hello Xhulja. I'm not sure if I understood correctly what you mean by blockage: your period has never come without taking medication or it comes irregularly, with delays? Because those are two different things. Anyway, I can't give you a diagnosis or comment without seeing you, as the causes can be of various origins. As you have missed it twice, you will miss it again. Don't worry. Have a good day

Hello Doctor,
I wanted to share with you my ongoing concern related to menstrual cycle pains. Ever since I was young, I have had such pains that if the pain reliever didn't work in time, I ended up in the emergency room with fever, low blood pressure, body numbness, feeling of vomiting, etc. Now I am almost 30 years old and have realized that unlike what I have been told, these pains are not normal at all, and I cannot continue to live a life where every month I lose 2 days in complete agony and unable to lead a normal life. At the moment, I take ibuprofen 400 mg every 6 hours 3-4 times a month (it worsens the condition of my stomach later but it is the only one that has an effect unlike paracetamol). The pain has always been concentrated on the left side. Lately, the pain is very focused almost on a point on the left side and feels exactly like a knife being stabbed. I want to emphasize that lately, I have had problems with the digestive system and for a long time have been taking Lansoprazole. I cannot come to a conclusion myself which of these two problems has worsened the other.
Also this time, 2 weeks before the start of the cycle, I had an episode of a super strong contraction roughly in the same area where I feel the menstrual pain and at the same time very strong pain/burning of the large intestine. Similarly, during the cycle, I usually have a lot of problems with the large intestine (blockage, gas, burning, etc.) and pain/numbness in the left leg. Normally I do not have such problems. Also, I did a urine analysis because I had burning during urination during the cycle and thought maybe an infection but the results were ok. I have also done an abdominal ultrasound for cysts and have been told I don’t have any. I want to emphasize that the cycle lasts regularly only 3 days, of which only the second day has considerable hemorrhage and then sporadic for about a week afterwards. The cycle is regular in timing except in the summer when it is always delayed by 1

Sent by Ada, më 06 December 2021 në 08:38

Hello Ada. I'm sorry you feel this way. Various degrees of menstrual pain are experienced by many girls. Unfortunately, some of them have such intense pain that they end up in the emergency room. But this combination of pain focused on the left side, combined with gastrointestinal worsening, is something that needs assessment. I don't think hormonal analysis helps us with this, since your cycle is regular. A detailed consultation would be necessary. I don't know if your mother, grandmother, sister, or other relatives have had similar symptoms or not. I don't know if you have given birth or not, if you suffer from any other disease, etc. It's not something that can be diagnosed just like that. I fully understand your pain and concern. I'm thinking about endometriosis, but it's not something that can be diagnosed just like that. Anyway, you need a good and careful doctor to be checked and discuss everything. I wish you health

Sent by paulinacanaj, më 16 December 2021 në 20:24

You need to have a vaginal examination for the cervix, a Pap test, and an ultrasound. It could be an infection, but it could also be a hormonal imbalance, etc. In any case, organic causes need to be ruled out. All the best

Good evening Dr. Elinda Gjata, please allow me to ask you something. I have been suffering from vaginal white secretions for some months now, which are yellow in color and have a bad smell. I did an analysis and it showed that I had an expressed vaginal fungus, and I took Micostop ovules and Saginil shampoo as treatment. After I finished these medications, I went for a second check-up where I did another vaginal analysis, and it showed that I still had fungus, but not as pronounced. I was given Canesten as a medication, which I used for three consecutive nights and it had no effect. When I have sexual intercourse, my partner feels a burning sensation and I still experience the smell of the secretions. What do you suggest I use because I also want to get pregnant but I have not been able to conceive for about a month now without using protection and there's been no positive result. Please, I ask for your reply, thank you

Sent by Jeta, më 08 January 2022 në 16:02

The first thing, the chance of becoming pregnant in the first month of trying is 20-25%, so there is nothing worrying about not getting pregnant in the first month. For a normal couple, it takes several months to conceive a pregnancy. As for fungal infections, both you and your partner need to be treated, since he also has concerns. As for what, I cannot say. Medication is not given via text message, but through consultation and visits. All the best

Hello doctor, after a gynecological visit following the appearance of genital warts, I was diagnosed with the HPV virus. After treatment with some ovules, these warts have reduced. What do you recommend next? Is the HPV test important since I have read that it is recommended after the age of 30, and I am 24 years old? Thank you

Sent by Tea, më 14 January 2022 në 06:42

You should regularly do the Pap test, not necessarily the HPV typing. Generally, these warts are caused by subtypes 6 and 11, which are the least dangerous (with low oncogenicity). However, it might be necessary to consider removing these lesions with chemicals or nitrogen, so as not to leave a potential that could re-activate later

If you are under 35 years old, I recommend you continue without tests for up to a year. It will most likely happen. If not, then you can consult with a fertility specialist and they will guide you on what to do. All the best

I have been in a relationship with the same partner for a year and a bit, and since last September, I have had problems with infections. After that, in December, it returned, and I was told it was a vaginal fungus for which I was given a selerbe fito-intimo gel and meliora ovules, and my partner was given vitamin C and diflucan for five days. I was treated, but he did not manage to get treated at the same time as me. We had unprotected sex, and later he developed some pimples. Meanwhile, I started showing symptoms again and underwent the same treatment. This time he also took the medications. Hello, Doctor! I'm 25 years old, I've had two miscarriages, the first time at 3 months the baby's heart stopped, the second time at 3 weeks I had a hemorrhage, after a month of having the abortion I accidentally became pregnant again, now I'm 4 weeks pregnant and the doctor has recommended me to use aspirin 75 mg and utrogestan vaginal progesterone, I wanted to know if these are harmful to use now that I'm pregnant and if I can do any analysis to prevent a third miscarriage. Thank you

Sent by Matilda, më 06 March 2022 në 17:58

Hello. I'm sorry to hear about your two miscarriages, I understand how you might be feeling. Unfortunately, a miscarriage can happen to anyone. 1 in 4-5 pregnancies may end in miscarriage, and in most cases, it is due to a genetically flawed pregnancy from the start. Even if both parents are healthy, a genetic anomaly can occur at the moment of embryo creation. Only 5% may have two consecutive miscarriages, and only 1-2% may have three or more consecutive miscarriages. In such cases, there is a long and expensive list of tests. As I mentioned, the main cause is genetic (which we cannot intervene); other causes are blood clotting issues (thrombophilia), autoimmune problems (thyroiditis, lupus, etc.), endocrine problems (diabetes, hypothyroidism, etc.), infections (chlamydia, mycoplasma, ureaplasma, etc.), uterine anomalies, progesterone insufficiency, etc. Therefore, most gynecologists prescribe additional progesterone and aspirin after two miscarriages. However, to standardize the approach and treatment, protocols are needed, and in this case, they recommend specific tests after three miscarriages, as well as treatment according to the case. In medicine, empirical theories are also used (which have been seen to work well, even though the exact mechanism of action or their effect is not fully understood). Cases of recurrent pregnancy loss are quite difficult, and often we do not fully understand the true cause. In these cases, these treatments are the help that doctors can provide, as well as emotional support. I hope this pregnancy goes very well until the end

This month my cycle was delayed but I couldn't take a test because on day 39, meaning yesterday, I got my period but without the symptoms I usually have before, with very heavy bleeding with clots and severe abdominal pain. One day before and on the day the bleeding started, I had a temperature of 37.4°C. Today is the second day and it continues the same but I don't have a fever. Could I have been pregnant and had a miscarriage, what do you think? How can I understand and do I need any medication or will it pass on its own?

Sent by Ina, më 09 April 2022 në 05:05

Yes, it's possible! But we don't have a way to confirm it at this moment, unfortunately. A bhcg blood test can be done, which might be positive at a low value (and in this case, we assume that a miscarriage has occurred), but it may also come out negative since the value might have decreased and we can't completely rule out the possibility of a pregnancy having occurred. Hello doctor, I have a problem, I have been unable to get pregnant for a year and 2 months, I have been trying but without any result. Four months ago, I had a test that showed I had vaginal yeast infection and I took Micostop medication and Saginil shampoo, when I was using these the smell and white secretions went away but after I finished them, the smell and secretions reappeared during sexual intercourse. I did another test that showed I was cleared of the yeast infection. A month ago, I did an ultrasound that showed I had an infection in the uterus, I took Mixovul medication for 7 nights and used Gine Tantum douche for 5 nights. Now I am waiting for my period on the 11th but I have terrible breast pain and I feel very bloated

Sent by Lea lea , më 10 April 2022 në 01:24

Hello. I hope that your period is late and the pregnancy test has come out positive. Neither mold nor other common infections are true causes of infertility. If your period has come and the breast pain has not eased, you need to go to the doctor for a consultation!

This information is not sufficient to give you advice. Whether fibroids should be removed or not depends on their size and position. Anyway, 6 months is a short time to worry!

Hello, I have a concern regarding my menstrual cycle. In January, I visited a doctor because my cycle was irregular and my flow had decreased, and it turned out I had cysts. I waited a month and had an ultrasound in February, and the ultrasound showed that I no longer had cysts. Since then, my cycle has become more regular, but the flow is not the same. Also, about two weeks after my periods, I experience very mild pain at the bottom of my abdomen. I emphasize that I have never had problems of this kind before and I am very worried. I am 29 years old. I have not had children. These months I have been a bit stressed.
Thank you

Sent by Nora, më 12 April 2022 në 08:29

Hello Nora. I cannot reach a conclusion with so little information. There are many reasons that can reduce menstrual flow or disrupt it. Hormones and stress are the most common. Keep track of your cycles, and if the concern continues, a reassessment of the situation may be considered. All the best!

Hello doctor, sorry to bother you, I am a 27-year-old girl. After a routine check-up with my gynecologist, she noticed some condyloma at the entrance of the vagina (I emphasize that I have never felt any discomfort), but she said that they are not worrisome and that we should perform HPV typing. After I did the typing, the result was "negative". Consequently, I underwent a colposcopy, where a biopsy was taken. A few days later, I received the result that I was diagnosed with "cervical mucosal fragment with low-grade lesion in the squamous epithelium (CIN 1) and chronic inflammation. I am extremely worried because I have read a lot about HPV and feel very bad about the possibility of it progressing to cancer, but at the moment I am not taking any medication except for some Papil-off ovules. I apologize for the bother

Sent by Ana, më 13 April 2022 në 07:57

Ana, you shouldn't feel this way! Cin 1 is nothing worrisome, the body can eliminate it itself. What's important is to keep it under regular control. HPV might not be caught in the typing, it happens sometimes. Vulvar condyloma are caused by HPV 6 and 11, which are the most common and have the lowest oncogenic potential. The findings in your examinations are a bit contradictory, but none of them are unsolvable. And don't even think about cancer. Just do the regular checks, according to the protocol

Hello Doctor!
Last year I did the Pap test and came out HPV positive Borderline. I also did a colposcopy and the doctor said there was nothing, we would do the Pap test next year and see. I did it again and it was again positive high grade moderate dyskariosis. Now I have had a colposcopy again one week ago. I emphasize that I have no problems during sexual intercourse or bleeding but I feel on the cervix somewhere 3 wart-like bumps. What are the chances that it will turn into cancerous cells and at this stage is it curable?
Thank you, dear

Sent by Denisa, më 14 April 2022 në 02:18

If there are changes in the colposcopy, I would recommend a biopsy, to catch or exclude anything problematic. Don't try to self-examine, as you are not able to interpret. And don't stay scared, because if the biopsy also shows problems, a minor intervention will be done that completely removes the damaged area. Just go to the doctor regularly

There are those for the skin, used for applying. And for the mucous membranes (vagina), which is used with an applicator. Place the applicator at the opening of the cream, fill it by pulling like a syringe, and insert it as deep as possible into the vagina, without pushing it forcefully. Press the plunger of the applicator and release it into the vagina. Remove the applicator and discard it, as it is for single use

Hello doctor, I have had my period almost every 2 months and I didn't take any medication even though I knew I had some cysts. For almost 2 years now, my cycle has been coming irregularly, sometimes every 14 days, sometimes 16 days, and sometimes even 12. I have taken contraceptives twice and it regulated, for example, the last time I took contraceptives for 3 months and for 6 months my cycle was regular, now it has become irregular again. I have visited 3 different doctors and they tell me I have polycystic ovaries but they haven't asked me to do any hormone tests or anything. I am very worried about what it might lead to

Sent by Bruna, më 20 April 2022 në 21:14

I would say the same thing, it's because of the microcysts. Microcystic ovaries are formed that way at birth, so from time to time, you will have other disorders. They are completely unpredictable: they may come once every few months, just as well as once every 2 weeks. Mostly during emotional stress, periods of stress, changes in lifestyle, etc. So, you don't have to worry, it's not something that threatens your life. You will likely have such issues until late, around the end of your 30s. All the best!

Hello! Congratulations on your work!
I wanted to ask you about the IUD. I had it placed in January because I had a lot of bleeding, and since I got it, my cycle these past 3 months has been very good and light. This cycle started on April 16th, and for these 3 days, I had quite a heavy flow, and today I saw that the IUD had come out. The doctor recommended qlaira 3x 1 for 3 days and then 2 tablets for another 3 days and finally one tablet every day. My question is, how will things continue in this situation? Are there other alternatives, since I have tried both pills and the IUD? What could be the solution, please? I await your response. Thank you

Hello!
Doctor, I have written to you above and you have asked me about the failure of the Mirena for my age, my age is 37 years old, in the anterior part are distinguished 3 small interstitial fibroids that do not affect the cavity, during 3 months with Mirena the cycle was quite reduced. Can a new Mirena please be reinserted? Waiting for your answer

Sent by Matilda , më 21 April 2022 në 11:59

Of course, that is an option, but there is a possibility of being expelled again. A more extensive check needs to be done to understand the mechanism of the hemorrhage. If the fibroids are small and superficial, they are not the cause! It is difficult to reach a conclusion like this... Take care!

Congratulations on your patience with online questions. May I ask if going to the gym and exercising negatively affects the placement of the coil by causing it to come out or start bleeding, 2-3 months after its insertion. What are other methods besides pills and the coil that eliminate bleeding in people around the age of 40? Thank you for your answers

Sent by Meri, më 23 April 2022 në 17:50

If the coil is well-positioned and the body has accepted it, starting to exercise after 2-3 months is not at all related to its displacement. Don't worry. I think that if you don't have heavy flow, the coil is the most suitable contraceptive method for your age

Hello and congratulations on the esteemed doctor's work.
I'm acquainting you with my problem. In January, I opted for the Mirena coil, which was positioned and began to have an effect in terms of reducing excessive bleeding. At the end of April, the coil expelled itself. Hormonal analyses are okay, the doctor told me to undergo a cleaning and biopsy to see the cause of the bleeding that is heavy and prolonged beyond the cycle. What is your suggestion, please?

Sent by Mati, më 13 May 2022 në 08:42

If I understood correctly, Mirena has reduced the cycle. I do not understand how it came out without hemorrhaging. If the hemorrhage was increased, depending on your age and history, it might be important to perform an endometrial biopsy, even without having the Mirena inserted

During these days, I started taking Qlaira pills, which I took for 3 days at 3x1, then for another 3 days at 2x1, and subsequently 1 per day. The doctor told me that now, after finishing the pills, we should do a cleaning and biopsy. I don't understand what this biopsy will reveal. In 2019, I had a hysteroscopy and biopsy, which came back normal. I am 38 years old (I have several submucosal nodules in the uterus, which according to their location are not the cause of the hemorrhaging, as explained by the doctor; my hormonal analyses are normal. First of all, heartfelt congratulations for every response you provide to everyone. I have been following you for 2 years and have read every case.
I am a 24-year-old girl and have been trying to get pregnant for 6 months. I am very familiar with my menstrual cycle and have also been taking Fembrion 0 for the past 3 months. Fembrion 0 contains folic acid and other vitamins that help in maintaining the embryo.
Every month on day 20 or 21 of the menstrual cycle, I notice a kind of transparent white globule, which I don't know how to name. This month I did not have it. My period is 10 days late and every test comes out negative. Does that transparent viscous secretion like a globule come out during pregnancy?
Thank you in advance for your answer!

Hello! Congratulations on your work!
I wanted to ask you about fibroids near the uterine cavity which cause me to bleed only during the menstrual cycle and occasionally leave brown spots. The size of the fibroid is 4 cm. Hormonal analyses came out ok, in 2020 I had a hysteroscopy and biopsy which also came out ok. In January, I decided to use Mirena which the body expelled on its own during the cycle. Today I had an ultrasound and the endometrium was normal, the doctor in consultation with his colleague said we are concluding that the bleeding is a result of the fibroid which, although not large, causes bleeding because it is attached to the cavity. The doctor recommended either Qlaira or tranexamic acid which should be taken for the first 3 days of the cycle. My concern is, do these have side effects related to thrombosis? Which one do you think is more suitable? Because if neither of these work, the uterus must be removed, the idea is to preserve it especially since I am only 38 years old. Waiting for your response. Thank you!

Sent by Ilda, më 24 May 2022 në 09:42

It is difficult to give an accurate opinion without examining you in person. Theoretically, contraceptives can favor blood clotting problems, so the doctor will surely give you all the necessary examinations before deciding if you can take them or not. But you are young and if you have heavy menstrual flow, you might experience anemia. And it is not easy to live with anemia. Perhaps myomectomy (removal of fibroids), not of the uterus, should be discussed. All the best

Adela, you do not get pregnant from desire, but from male sperm if it has passed into the internal genital tract. If you haven't taken the emergency pill in the suspected case that this has happened, you will have to wait to see if your period comes. If your period comes, please try to go to a gynecologist to discuss contraceptive methods, so you don't live with anxiety and uncertainty!

I had a cesarean section 33 months ago (due to fetal bradycardia as a result of the cord being wrapped around the neck three times).
I wanted to know if VBAC is possible in Albania because I would really like to have a natural birth for the second time (I am not pregnant yet)?!
Thank you

Sent by Dori, më 07 July 2022 në 15:59

If your local conditions and the baby's position at the time of birth are good, if the uterine scar (not the skin scar) is not too thinned, an attempt can be made for vaginal birth after a cesarean delivery. However, due to the complications that may occur, it is often avoided

I wanted to ask which tests or checks are good to do when a couple is planning their first pregnancy?
Thank you

Sent by Tina, më 10 July 2022 në 05:00

The basics are complete blood (so as not to start the pregnancy with anemia), complete urine, and vaginal secretion (so we don't have to take antibiotics while the baby is forming). Blood group as well. Then, depending on the personal specifics of the couple, others may be added, especially infectious ones

It might be a wrong perception of yours, but it might also be something that needs to be checked. If it continues or intensifies, you should have a consultation/visit/analysis with a doctor

Hello doctor.. Two months ago, I had a urinary infection from which the culture showed E. coli. I took antibiotics, did the urine test again, and it came back without infection, but sometimes I have a burning sensation when urinating and I see some white particles in the urine, I also have stomach pain and bloating. I have used probiotics and feel better from the pain and bloating. What tests do you recommend I do? Thank you

Sent by Marina, më 11 July 2022 në 17:00

Marina, E. Coli is quite resistant and returns from time to time. Beyond analyses, I would advise being careful not to create conditions for it to settle and multiply: drink as many juices as possible daily, consume fruits like watermelon, cherries, forest fruits, etc., drink various teas, take care of hygiene, etc

Hello esteemed Doctor! I hope you are well.
I am 33 years old and the concern I am writing to you about is that I have some minor issues before my period. I feel anxious, irritable, hot flashes, and have had 2 nights of poor sleep. My cycle is normally 24-26 days. This time I was expecting it on the 25th but it has been delayed. Usually, it lasts 1 week. The color at the beginning is cherry accompanied by some small pieces (lasts 3 days) then turns to brown. What do you advise, please?
Waiting for your response.
Thank you

I am 9 months pregnant and expecting to give birth, my problem is that besides having a vaginal infection I haven't found peace even though I have done two courses of amoxicillin and suppositories with the doctor's advice, I also have itching in the anus and have seen the presence of small, moving, white worms, can you prescribe me a treatment at this stage of pregnancy?? Does it harm the baby?? I am very worried because I have treated the infection in the vagina and whether all these do not affect the baby well... Thank you

Sent by Ela, më 31 July 2022 në 18:31

You need to discuss all of these with your doctor. I think you have pinworms, but the treatment for them is oral and is not recommended during pregnancy. However, depending on the severity of the situation, a decision must be made

Hello, Doctor. I wish to have a consultation with you. To cut it short, my partner has been diagnosed with azoospermia. We have tried in vitro fertilization (abroad) using the MESA method for my partner, but without success. Given these circumstances, we are considering in vitro fertilization with a sperm donor. Is this procedure possible in our country? If so, could you recommend where I could go for this?

Hello doctor! I hope you are well. A few months ago, I started being sexually active. At first, I experienced some pain, but not so much now. Due to the distance with my boyfriend, we meet twice a month, but I feel nothing when we have intercourse. I love him very much, and he treats me very well, but I don't feel any pleasure. I feel very bad; I don't know how to explain it more clearly, but I just go through the act trying to enjoy it, but I don't get any satisfaction at all. Previously, I had an E.Coli infection but have been treated. Could this be because of the infection? Please reply

Sent by Anto, më 05 Agust 2022 në 08:50

Hello. Sorry for the delayed response. It doesn't come from E. coli. The infection can cause pain, difficulty during contact, etc. Whereas pleasure is a feeling that comes after you first get to know your body, your erogenous zones whose stimulation can give you pleasure, and then explore together to understand what you want and what you enjoy more

Hello, I am pregnant in week 16. When I was in week 6, it turned out that I had 2 hematomas and the doctor told me to take Spasmex for the pain and Utrogestan and a Progestan ampoule for 4 weeks. During this time, I still had pain. In week 13, I had an ultrasound and she said that everything is fine and I should no longer take Utrogestan. The moment I stopped taking Utrogestan, I started spotting dark brown again and she suggested Utrogestan again but as a vaginal ovule. Now, in week 16, I went for a vaginal smear test and for checking infections because I occasionally have vaginal pain and non-white vaginal discharge. It turned out that I have Ureaplasma Urealyticum and she suggested ovules. Now, my concern is whether these issues have come from the infection, noting that when I did the tests in the first trimester, I did not have an infection. My worry is about this stage I am in and whether it affects the baby? I don't have itching or burning, just frequent urination and occasionally sharp pain in the vagina and pain on the left side of my abdomen

Hello Doctor, I hope you are well!
My problem is that I had severe diarrhea during the night and felt nauseous, this morning I took loperamide and RestoraFlor liquid, and I felt somewhat relieved. The problem is that when I urinated a little while ago I saw that the toilet paper was like with bright red blood, and I noticed that after urinating there were pieces of blood in the form of bright red sand, but coming from the vagina. Accompanied by mild abdominal pain in the uterus area. I have noticed about myself that in the last 2 weeks I have become very impatient, getting very quickly upset over the smallest things.

2.5 months ago, I took antibiotics in the form of an injection because I had E. coli, and I was treated with a full course.
Do you think it could be the same infection again, or could I be pregnant, even though my period was over a week ago?

Or is it a fungus?, since I had a fungus on the toes for which I used an antifungal cream and it healed very quickly

I went to the gynecologist and they told me that I have HPV in the labia minora and it definitely needs to be removed surgically. I am very worried, do I have cervical cancer? Please help me

Sent by Elona, më 15 Agust 2022 në 08:38

Hello. HPV has more than 100 subtypes and only some of them are associated with cervical cancer. And those that appear on the vulva and at the entrance of the vagina are usually caused by the most common subtypes 6 and 11, but they do not cause harm to the cervix. However, all your questions and concerns can be discussed with your doctor when you are in front of them. And what you should do to take care of yourself and how to boost your immunity, etc

Sent by Ana , më 06 November 2022 në 10:57

Ana, you have not asked me any question. It's very important to have a Pap test after treating inflammation. If it's a simple erosion of the cervix, it doesn't go away in a few days. When not inflamed, it takes 1-5 years to regenerate and be covered by the right cells. Care must be taken to avoid infections or treat them as quickly as possible, so as not to hinder regeneration or delay it. In some cases, diathermy coagulation of the surface may be necessary for a quicker correction

Doctor, could you please tell me what is the difference between cervical screening and a pap test?

Sent by Erblina, më 09 November 2022 në 06:46

Vaginal swab is a fresh analysis of vaginal secretions, done to detect vaginal infections. The Pap test checks the cells of the cervix, to find if there are cells that over some years might lead to cervical cancer

Vaginal and cervical swab
From the vaginal cervical swab sample, no pathogenic bacteria were isolated.
From the vaginal cervical swab sample, the cultures for fungi remained sterile.
Vaginal swab: 2-3 epithelial cells, gram-positive bacilli, rare polymorphonuclear leukocytes.
Cervical swab: 1-2 epithelial cells, gram-positive bacilli, 1-2 polymorphonuclear leukocytes.

He was very careful.
I had a lot of bleeding and even felt faint a few hours later.
Please, I would like some information because this has stressed me a lot. Is there a possibility of pregnancy?
I got my period 14 days later; does the arrival of this period mean that everything will be okay afterwards?

Sent by Anisa, më 20 November 2022 në 12:50

Hello. For the first time, we always recommend protected intercourse with a condom, not only for protection against pregnancy but also because it has lubricant and eases penetration. If it happened as you explain, of course, there couldn't have been a pregnancy and the arrival of your period should reassure you. Protect yourself next time

Sent by Leonora, më 20 November 2022 në 14:02

Leonora, I cannot know whether you will have difficulty getting pregnant or not. Not at all because of long-term preservation, but more because of age, quantity and quality of eggs, presence or absence of infections, etc. Don't postpone indefinitely, because enjoying perfect health is not a guarantee for fertility. Try, and if it doesn't happen within 6 months, go to the doctor for a check-up

On January 11th, I was supposed to take a medication with injections and antibiotics because I had a cold, specifically davixon and azithromycin. But on this date, I took a test that turned out negative and continued with the medication. From the 14th, I had some blood spots for about 2-3 days that I thought was my period. Now it turns out I am pregnant. Could the embryo have been damaged by the use of these antibiotics?

Sent by Ina , më 29 January 2023 në 09:17

Hello! Congratulations on your pregnancy, may it go well! It's unlikely that any harm came to the baby at this stage, dexamethasone is used in pregnancy, azithromycin is better not used. However, during the first 7 weeks, the possibility of medications passing to the embryo is very low, but if it does pass, the consequences can be serious, since it is in the formation stage, and as a result, it might terminate the pregnancy. We call this the "all or nothing" theory, so it either does nothing, or it terminates it. In your case, I think nothing has happened. Anyway, you will discuss these with your doctor. May it go well!

Sent by Alda, më 30 January 2023 në 06:10

I recommend that you consult with a careful hematologist to determine if you need medication and the appropriate dosage. If a miscarriage occurs again, genetic counseling should also be done. You will definitely have a successful pregnancy!

Hello doctor,
I have taken medication with Augmentin due to an infection from the teeth but during this time I have not been careful when I had relations with my partner.
In case I turn out to be pregnant, does taking this medication affect the pregnancy? And 2 months ago, I lost a pregnancy in the 8th month, therefore, I am very worried. Thank you

Sent by Flutra, më 26 February 2023 në 10:52

Hello Flutura. Augmentin is among the antibiotics that are allowed during pregnancy. How much you have taken, I do not know. Anyway, if the pregnancy test turns out positive, consult with your doctor. Best wishes!

Is it possible to have your period if you are pregnant?
I ask because two tests came out positive for me with the second line faint and I got my period which lasted a day and a half (or let's say two) and then it stopped. I am worried because I have stomach pain, dizziness, and nausea. Please what do you advise? Thank you

Do a beta hCG, Ola. It's a blood test that determines whether you are pregnant or not

Having an irregular cycle, it's hard to determine the exact time of the cycle. Repeat the test every 4-5 days

I did a Beta-HCG test 2 days ago and it showed values of 0.1 (negative). A doctor recommended the use of Duphaston. What do you suggest?

There are many reasons for cycle irregularity. It could be hormonal causes (disorders, thyroid, prolactin, etc.), organic causes (cysts), external causes (stress, exhaustion, medications, significant changes in diet or weight, etc.)

Hello Dr. Elinda!
I would kindly ask for a response regarding my problem.
I know it sounds absurd, but I feel a discomfort and I urgently need a gynecologist to help me with this.
I am 33 years old, married, and my husband and I have not yet had vaginal intercourse.
So I have not lost my virginity.
I have been very afraid of the pain. We have had anal sex and continued often in this way, as I thought it was easier, but it also hurt the first time.

I wanted an opinion from a gynecologist regarding the physical part to understand better how virginity is lost.
Because I am terrified when I look in the mirror and think about how that area covering the hymen can be transformed into a complete hole.
I am afraid that there will be a lot of tearing and it will hurt.
Looking in the mirror, I have noticed that my hymen is almost circular with an opening about 1 cm, and the lower part of the hymen (from the anus) looks like thick flesh in a light pink to white color.
How can all this piece of flesh be torn?
Does it hurt a lot when my hymen is of this shape?
I am not comfortable, I cannot sit comfortably to have intercourse,

So please, a gynecologist explain to me how that almond-shaped part where the hymen is located, opens up and turns into a hole
Because even after the hymen, I see the vaginal entrance which is like two lips that stay closed.
I had a gynecological visit where the doctor looked from below and said I am ok, that's how all women are, but I couldn't ask more.
Please, I beg for an answer

Sent by Maria, më 19 April 2023 në 01:26

Maria, you need to talk to a psychologist to overcome your fear. The gynecologist has seen you and said that there is no anomaly in your structure. You shouldn't exaggerate it in your mind however you might. You need to talk, and I don't think that's possible here

I have been struggling for two years since I got severely ill from COVID and took a lot of antibiotics, which led to the development of vaginal yeast infection and the constant recurrence of Candida albicans. I have used medications almost two times, 3 times a year, and now it has recurred again. It causes me terrible discomfort (excessive discharge, itching, and burning).
Please, can you help me with a medication that might be more effective?

Sent by Enxi, më 21 April 2023 në 16:51

Sorry, aside from advice, no medications are given here. Watch your diet, do not overdo it with sugar which is the main food for fungi (sweets, fruits, yeasts, alcohol), as they favor it. So, do not create a suitable environment. For treatments, only to the doctor you visit

Sent by Fatbardha berisha, më 18 May 2023 në 02:58

There are never 0 chances in medicine. Our body does not have mathematics. We use some values to understand and interpret. A low AMH value indicates that you have few eggs (oocytes), but it does not exclude the possibility that, naturally or through fertilization, one beautiful day, you might become pregnant

I haven't had any concerns at all and my periods have been very regular except for this month where I am 12 days late. The nodus is located in the walls of the uterus and partially in the inner layer of the uterus. I have heard that some types of fibroids are not problematic enough to require surgery. I don't know if it affects it or not but I wish to get pregnant. I have been trying for 6 months but still no result. I don't know if the fibroid affects this. I want to know if there is any medication for fibroids or if surgical intervention is the only solution? Thank you

Sent by Xhesi , më 07 June 2023 në 07:34

Fibroids do not have a known cause for their creation, consequently, there is no cure for them. Certainly, if they cause discomfort, there are treatments that monitor the rate of growth and the consequences, but not to eliminate them. Fibroids can play a role in infertility or miscarriages, depending on their size and where they are located. But I do not believe that what you have (as you explained), would affect it

Sent by Hawa, më 15 June 2023 në 17:38

Hello. If you are under 35 years old, 7 months is not a lot. Wait until 1 year. Then start the examinations. As for ovulation, it is monitored for three consecutive months, as it’s possible that you might not ovulate one month but do the next. Don’t rush, but consult closely with a doctor who is well acquainted with the fertility aspect

I am in week 29 of pregnancy, and in the last two visits, the doctor who is following me said that the baby's abdominal circumference is smaller than the norm but it's not something to worry about. In week 25, according to the ultrasounds I checked, the HC/AC ratio was 1.19, while now in week 29 it's more or less the same, 1.17. The other parameters are within the norm. Can you tell me if this poses any problem because from what I have read, this ratio should be < 1

Sent by Ina, më 05 July 2023 në 16:11

Hello Ina! As long as the doctor following you has said that it is not a problem, trust him. If the growth continues, it's fine. If the difference becomes more pronounced, it should be checked to see if there are causes that can be addressed. So, the follow-up will continue, a bit more frequently than before, and it will be seen how the growth progresses. Try not to get caught up in the numbers, our body isn't exactly mathematical, the numbers are just guides. Try to eat properly, rest well, with the aim of providing good nourishment to the baby, check the tests as per the doctor's orders. Leave the rest to the doctor. Hope everything goes well for you!

Hello! A little while ago, I started to experience vaginal irritation and intense itching during the night, but during the day I had no concerns, no discharge, no odor, no burning with urination. Out of concern, I had urine tests and culture done. It came back positive for E.coli and Candida albicans. According to the antibiogram and antifungal susceptibility, cefazolin and nystatin were the most effective. I took both for a week in the morning and evening. Cefazolin in tablet form and nystatin as vaginal tablets. I felt a bit relieved, and now, after two weeks, I have the same concerns again, but also during the day. I also take other medications (NSAIDs and steroids, methotrexate, and a biologic medication) since I suffer from arthritis (aggressive form). Could this be related to their use, or should I simply repeat the above treatment because it was insufficient? Thank you!

Sent by Jona, më 12 July 2023 në 14:47

I think you need to have a vaginal examination. There, the doctor checks if the concerns are external or also internal, observes and analyzes the nature of the discharges, checks if the uterine cervix is involved or not, etc. Only in this way can the appropriate treatment be chosen, buuuut also taking into account the medical situation of arthritis, the treatment of which complicates it

This is something very delicate, that cannot be discussed just in words. We need to see what the Pap test, colposcopy, and biopsy have shown. Hello doctor,
I hope you see this message in time. I am 29 years old and on June 2nd, I had an abortion. The procedure and recovery went well, and 6 weeks after the procedure I had a regular cycle similar to before. I didn't take birth control because the experience I went through made me afraid of sex, and I wanted to get through this state and let my body return to where it was.
Two days ago (which was also my ovulation period), I had intimate contact with my fiancé (not intercourse). Just rubbing of the vagina with the tip of the penis but the tip didn't fully enter. It was something less than 10 or 15 seconds. He ejaculated about 20 minutes later from masturbation. I know it sounds like a teenage question, but the anxiety made me look on Google where every piece of information said that there is a possibility of pregnancy even in such a case. I didn't take Plan B because in discussion with my fiancé he said there was no need since he was nowhere near ejaculation at that moment and I convinced myself that it was silly, but now I don't even trust him, thinking maybe he's not capable of understanding since the first pregnancy happened because he didn't realize he ejaculated inside. It has been 72 hours since the event and now I have that typical pain that I had in the first weeks of pregnancy and nausea. I also live in the USA and here it is a bit difficult and takes time to make an appointment with a doctor. Please tell me, is there a possibility for a pregnancy in such a case?
Months ago, I would laugh at what I'm writing, but the trauma I went through was not minor and I still feel bad, and a child is the last thing I want now since I'm not well psychologically and another abortion would make me feel even worse both spiritually and physically since the time that has passed is too short

Sent by Enxhi, më 27 July 2023 në 20:11

Sent by Fjolla, më 28 July 2023 në 10:38

Generally, according to medical protocols, colposcopy is recommended after an abnormal pap test. But if the doctor, upon visual examination, assesses that colposcopy could help in making a diagnosis more quickly, they may perform it

please a comment doctor what does it mean

Doctor, please could you comment on these colposcopy findings?
Findings of the cervix; in the exocervical epithelium in the open type transition zone, a circular ectopic zone was found around the OEU. At the 12 o'clock position AW epithelium. The remaining epithelium is squamous. Entire SCJ. Type 1 TZ.
Vagina: squamous epithelium, no colposcopic changes observed.
Vulva; vulva epithelium is normal.
Please doctor, does this mean cancer?

Sent by Dorea, më 30 July 2023 në 11:07

No, it doesn't mean that! Stay calm. Wait for your doctor's comment, but there is nothing cancerous (I'm using layman's terms) in the examination. Always, reading what you have written, it's not clear. But enough to understand that there is no cancer. All the best!

Replay from Dr. Elinda Gjata, më 30 July 2023 në 13:49

Dear Elinda, how accurate are the colposcopy results in the cervix, can you have cancer and it not be seen in colposcopy.
Thank you if you answer

Sent by Besa, më 31 July 2023 në 02:41

Colposcopy is an examination that is carried out by staining/moistening the cells of the outer part of the cervix with a solution that coagulates (solidifies) the proteins of the cells affected by HPV, leading to whitening of these areas. Based on their characteristics, the doctor determines whether a biopsy is needed or not. The biopsy is what makes the diagnosis. If the doctor has performed a colposcopy but has not seen any suspicious areas, then a re-check is left for a few months later. It is enough to be under control, as nothing happens today for tomorrow. Changes in the cervix take time to occur, therefore continuous checks are important

Sent by Fjorida, më 07 Agust 2023 në 22:09

It is possible. All these changes you describe could be physiological changes, but in some rare cases, they are also indicators of a viral infection. You should see a gynecologist for a check-up

Hello Doctor, how are you? I had a gynecological ultrasound a week ago, and the gynecologist found microcysts in the ovaries. My cycle is regular (28-29 days—or due to university stress sometimes 30 days, but generally in 29 days). I have acne in the beard area which appears as a result of these microcysts (that's what the dermatologist told me) and the latter has prescribed me oral contraceptives.
Do you recommend the latter (I am 20 years old)?
My hormonal tests came out fine (TSH 4.19; FSH 6.7; LH 6.8, DHEA-S. 199)
What causes microcysts, where do they originate from, what kind of problem do they cause, I mean.
And do they go away, or do they always stay there?
Does the current condition have to do with PCOS or is the latter something else?
And do microcysts cause infertility in the future?

Sent by Suela, më 16 Agust 2023 në 07:57

Microcysts are congenital, inherited. They will continue to be so. Having microcysts in the ovaries doesn't necessarily mean that you have polycystic ovary syndrome (cycle disorders, increase in androgen hormones, and microcysts in the ovaries). Check your thyroid, because the value is at the maximum of the norm and you might need to add iodine to your diet but not as a medication, after consulting with your doctor, of course. Meanwhile, I don't see high androgens, although the entire hormonal axis is not complete. From a gynecological point of view, you don't need contraceptives. If the dermatologist thinks they help with treating acne, that's another matter. It might affect fertility, but it doesn't mean you can't have children. Don't worry

Hello Dr. Elinda. I am 21 years old and at the end of 2021, I went through a bacterial infection for which I received treatment throughout 2022, and I was also treated for a fungal infection. I also underwent a Pap test which came back positive for expressed cervicitis. I received Saginil as treatment.
In May of this year, I also had another Pap test but the result was the same, I was treated again with Saginil but throughout this period I still have concerns like pain during sexual intercourse, pain after intercourse, white odorless discharges, etc.
Again in August, I did some other tests and the results were: normal bacterial flora, expressed cervicitis again from the Pap test and I did an analysis for mycoplasma and ureaplasma where ureaplasma came back positive. Does it affect infertility, please? I have been trying to get pregnant since May but to no avail. Does ureaplasma affect this? And are there any consequences from this infection?

Sent by lea, më 25 Agust 2023 në 14:28

Hello Lea! Ureaplasma needs to be treated, as a couple, and checked from time to time, since there are cases when it does not become negative. It is important that it is not active. Its role in infertility exists, but when treated properly, it should not pose a problem. If not treated, it can affect 8% in miscarriages, besides fertility. But it is completely solvable. Knowing this, no one will let it become a problem for you. Stay calm! All the best. 4 months are nothing, it will happen, unless there is another reason. All the best!

But to have an initial condition, which after several years can go as far as cervical cancer, and to have a normal Pap test result, can happen. Therefore, continuous check-ups are necessary

Hello, I had a gynecological visit, during the check-up the cervix was said to be slightly inflamed and I was suggested some tests, among them was HPV which turned out positive for types 16, 31, 6, 42 but my Pap test was good. I was advised to do a Pap test every six months regularly. I also had a vaginal swab where Ureaplasma came out positive, I took antibiotics for five days and cervical suppositories for 12 days. Since I started the therapy, I have been having back pain that extends to the lower abdomen and sides. I also went to the urologist who told me that I have a urinary infection and now I am on antibiotics. My only concern that I cannot sleep over is HPV, since I know those two types are dangerous, what should I do or where should I be more cautious, doctor? I emphasize that I have been in a relationship with a guy for 14 years and have not been with anyone else, while for my boyfriend I cannot know, he might have been with someone else. Thank you if you find time for me

Sent by Leonora, më 24 October 2023 në 15:10

Hello Leonora! There are many people who are carriers of HPV without knowing it, just as there are many who are carriers and never have problems with their cervix. You should get checked every 6 months, take care of boosting your immunity, eat healthily, and try not to stress (as much as possible). But that's it! Nothing more. Just the idea of knowing it stresses you out, but this doesn't help, on the contrary. Stay in control, that's it! Best regards

In the cytological material prepared for analysis according to the Papanicolaou method, the microscopic photograph shows cells from the superficial layers of eosinophils with superficial squamous eosinophilic and intermediate basophilic layers, grouped and single, partially covered with detritus and leukocytes, as well as single endocervical cells without elements of atypia. Among these cells, there is a moderate number of granulocytes, and a slightly smaller number of lymphocytes and plasma cells.

Pathologist's comment: No cellular atypia elements were found in the analyzed material.

It's normal to be common. There is nothing to worry about. After ejaculation, within 1-4 minutes, the fast sperm have reached near the egg. So, it's pointless to stay still for long. Accompanying fluids come out when you move. All the best to you!

Visit the gynecologist

Replay from Dr. Elinda Gjata, më 26 December 2023 në 07:57

Hello Doctor!
For a year and a half, I have noticed warts on one side of my labia minora. I didn't know what it was, but during a check-up with a gynecologist, she told me to have them burned off by a doctor. I was scared because it didn't bother me, and I didn't touch it.
Then, a few months later, I got them on the other labia as well, right where the two labia meet, meaning in the same direction but on the other side. Now, I have also developed them on the perineum.
As for the vaginal entrance, when I look with a mirror, I notice that around the hymen I have some flesh-like bumps around it, I don't know if it's part of the vagina. From what I've seen on the internet, others have an open entrance, while mine is like a horizontal line and above, below, or even sideways I have some flesh-like bumps. During intercourse, I only have difficulty in the beginning, since I lost my virginity a month ago, because I was very scared to have intercourse before. Once my husband enters, I don't have pain anymore, the penis enters freely.
Also, my husband has developed a few warts at the base of the penis.
During the visit to the gynecologist, I also did an HPV test, all came back negative. I don't know if I should do a Pap test, to see if I have something bad since HPV was negative, because especially these flesh-like bumps at the vaginal entrance, I don't know what they are.

The doctor gave me medication for the infection with Enterococcus and a lot of fungi I had, and also Condyloma to burn them off. On the first day, he applied it, and for 4 days I did it myself.
After the 4th day, we went to the dermatologist for my husband, and he saw us both and recommended us Virzin cream 5% acyclovir for application twice a day.
I stopped the Condyloma and am now using the cream, we are on day 6 and it seems like I am not improving,
they are not going away, we are also taking some vitamins to boost the immune system.

The problem is now because I have not given birth and I am 33 years ol

Sent by Mariola, më 26 December 2023 në 08:16

Mariola, your comment is not complete until the end! You have been treated for genital warts, now you are taking acyclovir for herpes. HPV (probably in the cervix) is negative. Neither of these prevents you from getting pregnant, but you should not try without completing the treatment. Also, you will discuss with the doctor the way of delivery (if the warts have not disappeared, the connection should not be through the vaginal route). All the best

Hello, I congratulate you on the advice and patience you show, Dr. Elinda Gjata.
I am 40 years old, have 2 children aged 14 and 8. I have had complaints such as light bleeding between cycles for about two years, my cycle is regular and not increased in volume or days. The bleeding has been infrequent, happening one month and not the next. As is our custom among Albanians, I passed it off with advice from my mother or mother-in-law as normal, thinking it's just how women are, maybe I have some infection. To be honest with you, I blame myself too since I am scared and I kept postponing the doctor's visit out of fear, I gave birth to my children myself and the mere thought of the speculum terrifies me.
Two months ago, I had more frequent and increased bleeding between cycles. In November 2023, I did a Pap test and the result was:
Inflammatory background, squamous cells showing pronounced reactive changes and autolysis are observed. Among them, immature metaplastic cells with predominantly ASCUS aspect are also noted.
Treatment, clinical follow-up and repetition of the Pap test after 3 months are recommended.

I am using Primolut and Pharmagyn.
I emphasize that I have itching and am using Macmiror.

I am in contact with the doctor and am eagerly waiting to do the next check-up as I cannot forgive myself for this negligence.
I emphasize that for strong family reasons, I have neglected myself.
My husband has not been living for 5 years and I have taken it very badly.
I stress that I am a conscientious and orderly person.

My question is:
Did I neglect the visit and the performance of the Pap test too much?
Should I have done it earlier?
Is there a possibility that I have cervical cancer?

I emphasize that even though I am on medication, the bleeding continues and I have severe pelvic pain.

The doctor has suggested that if I do not calm down with medication, we will proceed with cleaning, diagnosis, and treatment.
Thank you if you answer.
Even one piece of advice from you

Sent by Aida, më 02 January 2024 në 03:19

Hello Aida! Of course, health should not be neglected, but you are still in time. You do not have cervical cancer, as the changes you have are minimal according to the Pap test. Of course, you should continue following the advice of the doctor who examined you. This is my advice: calmly, without stress, continue with the treatments and check-ups. All the best and a happy new year to you!

Sent by Teu, më 22 January 2024 në 02:05

Hello Teu! All three of these microorganisms are components of our normal vaginal flora, in minimal amounts. When this balance is disrupted, one or the other predominates, or in combination. The treatment for them is determined by the doctor who examines you, depending on the signs, complaints you have, and the severity of the infection, but also in combination with the pregnancy period. Take care!

Today, I have no bleeding at all and it seems like my uterus has descended quite low, to the point where I can touch something soft with my hand whenever I wash down there. What do you think or what answer do you have?

Sent by Anes, më 28 January 2024 në 14:49

Ana, long life to your baby! It must have been a blood clot that came out yesterday. The uterus has contracted and is affected by the abdomen, it will take 6-8 weeks to fully shrink after childbirth. Of course, it can't come out below. What you feel might be the front wall of the vagina, or the cervix. But don't fantasize, rather visit a gynecologist and clarify your questions!

Rabije, nuk ke lene gje pa bere. Trupi jone ka reagimet e veta, qe jo gjithmone ne mund t’i perkthejme ne diagnoza te sakta, per fat te keq. Mjekesia eshte shkence jo ekzakte dhe jo e plote. Veshtro si do vazhdoje dhe diskutoji me mjekun tend shqetesimet. Asgje dramatike nuk me duket! Gjithe te mirat!

pershendetje doktoresha, doja nje mendim tuajin per nje shqetesim qe ndjej.
Jam nje grua 40 vjece, kam dy femije 10 dhe 3 vjec re dyja lindjet normale. Ne dt 20 shkurt bera pap testin i cili rezultoi negativ por ne komente shkruhej sfond inflamator. Doktori me sugjeroi mixovul per nje jave. Pap testin e parafundit e kam bere ne 2019 perpara shtatezanise se dyte dhe te gjitha rastet kane dal negativ. Kam nje cikel te rregull cdo 28-29 dite dhe me zgjat 3-4 dite me fluks normal. Sekrecionet roze vazhdojne edhe sot, ovulen e perdora perseri. Jam e shqetesuar cfare jane keto sekrecione qe paraprijne ciklin? duhet te shqetesohem? mund te jene sekrecione premenstruale? theksoj se shqetesim tjeter, kruarje, dhimbje nuk kam.

Nderkohe sekrecionet d tjera qëhemoragjike qe kane paraprire ciklin nuk di te them me siguri se cfare mund te jene: nje cregullim qe do ndodhte edhe po te mos kishit bere pap testin? Nje kist qe nuk do plase me shperthimin e ciklit?

PAPANICOLAU shkalla 2
Ne qaf te mitres kam nje plage , bera dhe tipizimin e hpv ishte negativ . Per plagen mjeku me tha te bej avullimin e saj me llaser . A mendoni se duhet ta kryej kete intervenim , un ende skam asnje lindje . Ju lutem nje koment

Pershendetje! Pap testi ka dale mire, pa qeliza problematike. Sfond inflamator i lehte. Nderkohe HPV negativ, akoma me mire. Per nderhyrjen ( qe eshte minimale) askush me mire se mjeku qe te ka pare nuk di te ta thote. Gjithe te mirat.
