My heart misses so much being pregnant again to be followed by you, Deldi, I will come to you immediately as soon as we are in Tirana, we have time in Vlora. Lots of kisses

Hello, since I was young, from the moment my menstruation started, I have had pain and continue to have it. The pain starts on the first day and lasts for 2 days, especially during the summer the pain becomes unbearable. Lately, I have started to urinate a bit more frequently. This has been going on for almost 2 years. I have used Ciprofloxacin and pills, but the pain reappeared after 2 weeks. I went to do tests but they didn't show anything, they told me I am okay. Honestly, I was expecting an infection. Something else surprises me too

Sent by eda, më 13 January 2012 në 16:29

Good evening Eda!
The painful arrival of the menstrual cycle (dysmenorrhea) occurs in almost half of the menstruating women. The causes are numerous. But if this has been happening since the arrival of the first cycle, it means that it is primary, so there are some substances produced in your body (such as prostaglandins, vasopressin) that cause pain during the cycle. In such cases, adjusting lifestyle, diet, physical activity, as well as the use of oral contraceptives and non-steroidal anti-inflammatory pain relievers help a lot. However, other gynecological problems such as infections, cysts, fibroids, etc., should certainly be ruled out.
For urination problems, you should speak with a Urologist

How can I understand if I have cervical cancer, and what is the probability for a 23-year-old? What are the causes and symptoms, please? Thank you

Sent by Kida, më 27 September 2012 në 07:10

Hello Dr. Kozeta... could you tell me if uterine fibroids are harmful and is it possible to become pregnant if you do not have sexual intercourse?

Sent by ela, më 21 January 2013 në 08:06

Good evening Ela! Can you clarify the problem you have, since the word "bubble" is not used for any uterine disease?!

Sent by kozeta , më 21 January 2013 në 12:46

Good evening Kida! Cervical cancer is more common in middle ages 35 to 55 years old, and rarer in younger ages because it develops slowly! This does not mean it is impossible! The only way to discover it is through medical examination: gynecological visit, Pap test, colposcopy, and taking a biopsy if necessary. There are many factors that influence its occurrence: various infections (HPV), multiple partners, smoking, poor nutrition, and of course, a genetic predisposition! It may not have any signs at all, or it may produce bad-smelling secretions, bleeding after contact, urinary and defecation disorders, and many others depending on the stage and organs it affects!
It's important to make routine visits to your gynecologist!

Hello Dr. Kozeta, I am a 23-year-old girl and I got my period for the first time at the age of 13, and since then, it always comes 3-4 days early. There are times when it comes even 1 week early, is there a problem? What are the reasons that it always comes before the date? Thank you

Sent by marry, më 04 February 2013 në 12:14

Good evening! The normal menstrual cycle varies from 21 to 35 days. It is normal to have the same cyclical repetition, equal in days. The measuring unit is not the calendar month, so it is completely normal to come 3 or 4 days before the date you thought. It would be abnormal if the interval was not the same, with a different number of days in successive months

Sent by kozeta , më 07 February 2013 në 14:10

Good evening! Thank you for your care and your answers.
A while ago, I had a Pap test and the result came back as "Atypical squamous cells of undetermined significance." Can you help me understand what steps I should take and what this Pap test result means? Thank you

Sent by Laureta, më 13 February 2013 në 12:46

Good evening! Such a result indicates the presence of cellular changes, but it is not possible to determine their origin. Generally, this comes as an inflammatory reaction of the body against various local factors. In such cases, local treatment and a repetition of the Pap test are recommended. If the result is the same, then a colposcopic examination can be done

Doctor, I am a lady from Pristina who has not been able to get pregnant for many years, and I have had many analyses here in Kosovo, but all of them come back fine. However, I don't trust these results because it's been so long and I'm not getting pregnant. Please, I wanted to come to Tirana or to the military hospital to have analyses there, maybe they will be more reliable than here because medicine has become a business here. My age is 36 and my husband's is 43. Please write me back, with respect, Dita from Kosovo, Pristina because I am very worried. Kisses

Dear colleague,
Since I don't know any other way to get informed, I thought to ask you because I believe that you (being from Tirana) are better informed than me from Gostivari!
During the congress for Perinatology, gynecology, and obstetrics that was held some time ago in Thessaloniki, (which I attended), I heard that a similar congress will be held in Tirana this April (in which I would like to participate!), but I have no means of contacting (tel., email, address, etc.)
I would be grateful if you could inform me about this matter!
I apologize for any inconvenience and thank you,

Hello Doctor,
I am 25 years old. I have always had irregular menstrual cycles. For the past few months, they have been coming every 40 to 45 days. Also, my cycle length has been extending by more than 1 week.
I visited a gynecologist and was told that I have several ovarian microcysts and was given contraceptives as treatment. I used them for 3 months, but after finishing them, I am experiencing the same problems again. Please give me some advice, as I want to have a child and would like to know if I might have difficulty conceiving

Sent by Klea, më 17 April 2013 në 03:44

Good day Klea! If your cycle has been regular before and has only extended these last few months, then it would be good to do hormonal testing and to look into the possibility of potential influencing factors such as stress, genetics, lifestyle, or other accompanying illnesses. The ability or inability to have children does not only depend on the cycle's regularity, but on a series of other factors that remain to be discussed! Have a good day!

Hello doctor. I would like some advice from you if possible. I am a 33-year-old married woman with a 5-year-old daughter. I had a cesarean delivery. A year ago, I had a spontaneous miscarriage, which according to my doctor in Saranda, I might have been 5 weeks pregnant (from the ultrasound, the embryo was very small and had not moved to the uterus, it was like a halo, that's what the doctor said when I did the ultrasound. A week after the ultrasound, I had the miscarriage) I did not undergo a cleaning or receive any treatment as it was not needed. I want to mention that I got pregnant immediately in both pregnancies. After 6 months from the miscarriage, my husband and I started trying for a child but nothing. Almost a year has passed and still nothing. I am very upset. I have done vaginal tests and they came out fine, and my husband has done a sperm analysis and it turned out fine. Can you tell me what other tests I should do? Thank you, I eagerly await your reply

Hello doctor, I congratulate you on the work you are doing. I am a 23-year-old girl and I wanted to ask you about a concern I have had for some time. My problem is that I have noticed that from the inside of the lips of the genital organ, a mass forms like cheese in a pink color..could this perhaps be a form of hemorrhage or vaginal infection..thank you and I await your response

Sent by daniela, më 14 November 2013 në 16:05

Hello Doctor,
I am 35 years old and I have been informed a month ago that I have a mass of about 12 cm attached to my uterus on the right side. I want to point out that I have had an ultrasound of the lower abdomen from which it was not possible to clearly examine the nature of this mass. After this ultrasound, I was prescribed to follow up with a full-body magnetic resonance imaging with contrast (I will do it on 01.25.2014). As for me, the only symptom that I have managed to identify in myself is a kind of annoying "pain" around the pelvic area and nothing more, I always have regular and painless menstruations, I took a Pap-test a month ago and everything is normal. I forgot to mention that the mass is heterogeneous and egg-shaped, with a 2 cm liquid composition and the rest solid. In fact, I am seeking your opinion, as by browsing the internet, I have already attributed to myself some kind of tumors. Thank you

Hello doctor. I am 27 years old and have a cyst on the cervix which was 7.4 cm in diameter above the base of treatments and has reduced to about 6.5 cm. I have consulted with the gynecologist and we continue with the treatment. I have been taking the medicine for almost a year and have not seen any improvement. Now I am afraid that the cyst I have may turn cancerous. Please, I would like to know if it can become cancerous

Dear Dr. Kozeta, greetings. I am a mother of six daughters. I want to plan to become pregnant again in hopes that I might have a boy. I have read some of your studies regarding ovulation and even saw the ovulation chart, which emphasizes the importance of ovulation days in determining the gender. I am 37 years old and my last menstrual cycle started on July 25th. Could you please explain when the ovulation period might be? Today, meaning the 11th day of the cycle, I noticed that I have a discharge similar to egg whites. Since I do not dare to determine the time of ovulation myself, I turned to you. I remain hopeful for your response

Sent by Ela, më 06 November 2014 në 15:53

Sent by dora, më 29 January 2015 në 05:30

Good evening Dora! You need to see your gynecologist to have an ultrasound examination to check the condition of your ovary.. I mean to see whether or not there are follicles and how mature they are. At the same time, your partner needs to have a spermogram! Then, depending on the results, other examinations might be required

Sent by kozeta, më 31 January 2015 në 10:57

Good evening, Gena! The painful arrival of menstruation is common, and depends on many factors. You need to check with the doctor to exclude the possibility of infections, cysts, or other changes. At the same time, you need to regulate your lifestyle, engage in sports, and eat healthily

Sent by kozeta, më 31 January 2015 në 10:59

Good evening Nina. Your period will come at least 4 days after the completion of the treatment you are taking

Sent by kozeta, më 31 January 2015 në 11:01

Good evening Lola from Sarande! First, you need to fix the structure of the ovaries. Meanwhile, you will need to check the quality of your husband's sperm. Then, proceed with hormonal dosing, as well as a hysteroscopy

At that moment, I didn't bleed at all. After about 3 hours, I felt like I was getting my period for about 3 or 4 days, and I don't know if I am still a virgin or not, and why I didn't feel any pain. And my monthly period was 1 week before. Sorry for bothering you, if you could reply to me. Thank you for understanding

I am 25 years old, and my husband is 26 years old. We have been trying to get pregnant for 4 months without any results. Please inform me on what I should do because I am worried.
Looking forward to your prompt response!
Ersida!

Sent by Ersida Kullolli, më 20 February 2015 në 04:02

Good evening Ersida! 4 months is too short a time to worry about. At least, you should wait for a year. However, you need to have a check-up with a gynecologist to see the development of the uterus, and the function of the ovaries as well as to have a sperm analysis of your husband. Try to stay calm, eat well, and engage in physical activity. You can start taking additional folic acid, one tablet every lunchtime

Sent by kozeta, më 22 February 2015 në 15:16

This time it's not me who has the problem but my husband.
Since his adrenal gland does not produce testosterone, he is taking it by injection, but during this time we are trying for a pregnancy. Is there any problem or should we wait until he finishes the treatment before trying?
Thank you.

I have never had any concerns, I have had an ultrasound and they told me that it is risky because it risks the removal of the uterus... yet, I am not a mother yet... is there a positive solution to this matter here?

Sent by Enerta, më 24 Agust 2016 në 04:49

Hello Enerta! If the fibroid is on the outer wall of the uterus, it can be removed without a problem through surgical intervention (laparotomy, or laparoscopy). If the fibroid is not very large, you can keep it under control, as long as it does not cause you any trouble

Hello Dr. Kozeta. I would really appreciate it if you could give me an answer to something that's been bothering me a bit. About 10 days or so after my menstrual cycle, the discharges are dark brown in color and have a very bad smell. I don't know how to explain it more accurately, just that it's something that bothers me because I'm afraid it might indicate another problem

Sent by Anja kodra, më 29 September 2016 në 14:42

Hello Anja! Brown-colored secretions can originate from the uterus or from the cervix. Whereas, bad smell indicates the presence of an infection. In such a case, it would be advisable to have a gynecological check-up (visit, ultrasound, and cultures of vaginal and cervical secretions) to find the cause and to get the proper treatment!

Sent by Manjola, më 28 October 2016 në 11:30

Dear Manjola! I think you need to find a bit more peace and get rid of the sadness. If you have been pregnant once, you will be again. This should give you hope that it will happen again. If the doctor has told you to use medication, it would be good to listen to the advice. Otherwise, you need to have a detailed check of the condition of the hormones produced in the body, the function of the ovaries, and the internal condition of the uterus

Sent by Juliana osmani , më 04 November 2016 në 06:50

Good evening, Juliana! The best determination of the baby's age is done based on the ultrasound that is performed at the beginning of the pregnancy. This is because neither the date of the cycle nor the ultrasound done in the last trimester provide the exact age of the child, but rather an approximation

I did two analyses, a vaginal secretion culture which showed normal bacterial flora, and a vaginal smear: a few epithelial cells, and leukocytes 4/5 per field. The rest were negative. I did the tests due to excessive secretions and although they are normal in thickness and color, occasionally they have an odor. I also did a urine test that showed an infection in the urinary tract!! How did the smear test turn out, are the white blood cells normal at that level? I am worried. Thank you very much

Sent by anna, më 03 December 2016 në 14:00

Hello. It is advisable that tests are requested by the doctor during the gynecological visit, as only in this way can the proper analysis be requested and the results interpreted. Those taken by yourself, have no diagnostic value and as such, no explanation or treatment can be provided

My hormonal analyses are fine. I have been recommended to take a contraceptive, Yaz. I am 20 years old, is there a risk/side effect from using it?

Sent by Dea, më 06 December 2016 në 13:35

Good evening, Dea. If the doctor has advised you to use it, you can take it. Since he has thought it is necessary for your condition. There are no medicines without side effects, but, if the good it brings is greater than the effects it causes, then it is decided to take it!

Hello doctor, I congratulate you on your work! I have had a miscarriage a few days ago, it was my first pregnancy... I am very worried, can I get pregnant again and could the same thing happen again? How long should I wait before trying for a baby again, please?

Sent by jeta, më 24 December 2016 në 13:12

Hello Life! I'm sorry that you had a miscarriage, but it can happen for many reasons, a good part of which are not dependent on you. Anyway, you are young and have the possibility to get pregnant again, and the chances are better that you will carry the pregnancy to term. For this, you need to wait for at least the passing of three cycles, and before you start another pregnancy, it would be good to have a check-up with the gynecologist

This issue is driving me crazy, it's been about 2 months that my menstrual cycle has been irregular. On December 11th, I had my period with a normal flow lasting 4 days. It started again on December 18th, and I've been getting a little bit every day... and today, December 25th, I have hemorrhaging and pain, I'm going crazy, what should I do? It's been 3 months that I've been planning for a baby... and one question, should I take Rapidol S... for the pain... thank you Mr. if you could provide an answer... I wish you good luck and prosperity in life.....good night ♡♥♥♥♥♥

Sent by lazarela, më 23 March 2017 në 09:25

A fibroid that is located on the outer surface does not have any impact, while the internal one depends on where it is. However, 6 months is a short time to be concerned. At least try to be calm and eat well. Also, the husband should be careful with alcohol, tobacco, or fatigue at work

Hello Laura. If you have brown discharge, you need to at least have a gynecological check-up to examine the cervix for the presence of any problem. If signs of infection are seen, the doctor will take a sample to perform a culture to find the cause. And you can have an ultrasound examination to rule out possible problems

I had some light bleeding the next month, and again had unprotected sex, but I still haven’t got my period; it’s been over 3 weeks. I took the test again but still, the result is negative. I did a urine culture, and it showed a high count of E.coli, so I took antibiotics for 2 weeks. I also did an ultrasound, and there was nothing. I feel bloated and my breasts feel the same, I am tired all the time, and I don’t understand what is happening to me. Hello doctor, I have been using the Yaz contraceptive method for 2 months, and I am at the beginning of the third pack on the 4th day of the third month of using Yaz, and I forgot a pill but I took it within 17 hours from the time I usually take it but meanwhile, I had unprotected intercourse with my fiancé throughout the week. Is there a possibility that I could be pregnant? But meanwhile, I want to inform you that I always take the pill on time and this is the first time this has happened to me, and meanwhile, I am taking this pill for the treatment of polycystic ovaries because I have been diagnosed for about two years. Thank you

Hello An! Generally, if you forget a pill, you might experience light bleeding, but you are not safe from pregnancy. For this, you have to wait for the timely arrival or delay of your next cycle

Hello doctor, I am a pharmacist. I would be immensely grateful if you could answer my question. Five months ago, I had a hemorrhage and a urinary infection. I visited a gynecologist who told me that I had bacteria in my urine and also free fluid in the Douglas space. I took amoxiclav and it passed, but from time to time I have mild pains at the bottom of my abdomen, similar to those I had during the hemorrhage. What do you think, was I properly treated or should I get checked again? Thank you

I suffer from bacterial vaginosis and until today, I have treated it simply with antibacterial home remedies, such as tea tree oil tampons (1-2 hours) or with apple cider vinegar, but even though it's treated internally, I haven't seen any significant results, so I wanted to move on to a treatment with pills, what do you suggest?

Sent by Ersi, më 13 September 2017 në 11:21

I think that the treatment for the problem you have should be prescribed by a doctor, after they examine you and take analyses from your secretions. Medications should not be taken without first seeing the actual condition

Hello, doctor. We are a couple from Shkodra. We have been married for 2 years. My husband experienced stress 6 months ago (due to a family issue), and because of this stress, he underwent paralysis and is unable to ejaculate, meaning he is fine with performing the act but at the moment of ejaculation, he experiences pain and cannot finish. He has consulted, underwent an ultrasound, and was told it is a nervous condition and needs to wait for it to pass. However, since we do not have children, we are worried about how long this situation might last and, furthermore, I wanted to inquire if there is any possible treatment or if this situation persists for years, do we as a couple have the possibility of having a child through some sort of fertilization? Excuse my inappropriate medical terminology. Thank you very much

Sent by Manjola, më 15 September 2017 në 02:57

Good evening, Manjola.
Of course, there is a solution to this problem. After all, you can do it through in vitro fertilization. If you are young, it would be better to wait a while until this difficulty passes and to conceive naturally. Meanwhile, try to stay as close as possible to your husband and help him through this moment

Afterwards, I underwent a cyst puncture and am currently waiting for the biopsy results. The fluid was clear, and I haven't had any concerns. I am worried about the cyst recurring. Generally, how soon can you be ready to have a baby?

Hello Arsida. Draining the cyst does not remove the cyst, it simply removes its content, and over time, this can reform. Removing the cyst with its capsule is definitive

Sent by Monda, më 25 September 2017 në 10:26

Hello Monda. You should never take medications without consulting or checking with a doctor. In fact, the mistake lies with the pharmacies that give you any kind of medication without a prescription. You need to see a gynecologist, and if they find it reasonable, they will prescribe you medication. Abortion can happen for many reasons, often unknown, so taking utrogestan does not protect you

I really like your very accurate answers.
I am 28 years old and have been trying to conceive with my husband for about 2 years, but still no results. I have a very irregular cycle, it comes rarely, almost every 6 months. I have used contraceptives like Diane 35, Yasmin, Femoden... also Utrogestan, Duphaston. The moment I stop taking these medications, my periods do not come normally, and I also have acne on my face. I have had a transvaginal ultrasound and the doctor diagnosed me with microcystic ovaries. I have also done a prolactin test and it came back with normal values. I don't know what my chances are of getting pregnant sooner with an irregular cycle? Thank you!

Sent by Brisida , më 02 November 2017 në 10:18

Hello Brisilda.
If your cycle is irregular, of course, you will have difficulty becoming pregnant. If the ultrasound has shown that you have polycystic ovaries and you also have acne, you need to do a hormonal balance, and depending on their values, medication can be taken. Getting pregnant may take time, so you need to be more patient, and calm.
Good night!

Firstly, I want to congratulate you on this page and your accuracy in responding.
I'm Ana and I have been trying to get pregnant for two months but without success. My cycle is regular but last month it was less in quantity than usual. I did two tests, one two weeks after unprotected intercourse and the other after 6 weeks, but the result was negative. I have a high body temperature, I eat and no matter how much I eat, it seems like I can't get enough and I need to eat again (I make sure to eat fibrous and dietary foods). I urinate more often than usual. I have significant mood swings. I don't know if I could be pregnant or not and why I want it so much. After the act, sometimes a part of the semen comes out and I don't know if it's a problem or not. Please reply if I have pregnancy symptoms and about the semen issue? I would appreciate advice on what to consume to increase the chance of getting pregnant or any medication.
I hope for your response.

Hello Ana. It seems to me that you have forgotten to live your life...
Being pregnant is beautiful, but it happens when the time is right, not when you want it.
You are not a 2-year-old child to insist "I want it now".
Firstly, you got married to fulfill yourself, you got married to enjoy your life... let the child come when it wants.
Therefore, enjoy love and live your life. What comes out is spermatic fluid, and it's normal that it will come out. The spermatozoa that perform the function are invisible and pass through the internal pathways on their own

How is it calculated from the date I had the abortion? And as the bleeding stopped, a bad smell began that smells like fish. Two weeks after the bleeding stopped, I had sex with a condom. Sent by Helena, më 21 December 2017 në 21:22

Different bodies react differently. Bad smell indicates an infection, so you definitely need to take antibiotics. For this, you need to have a check-up with a gynecologist

I am 28 years old, in November 2017 I lost my baby in the 20th week of pregnancy, it was my first pregnancy, and until that moment everything was going very well. The diagnosis was spontaneous abortion due to cervical incompetence and it is very likely that in my next pregnancy I will have to undergo a cerclage. Now in May, it has been 6 months and I need to do some check-ups. What I wanted to know, please, is if there is any examination that can reveal cervical incompetence and if you offer it in your clinic? Have you had successful cases without the need for a cerclage? I really need some positive cases because I am very afraid to think about a second pregnancy after the loss I suffered, I don't know if I can handle it again. Thank you in advance!

Sent by Antuela, më 03 May 2018 në 08:51

Hello,
There is no specific examination that you can do now.
If we are talking about this pathology, the only thing to do is cerclage, followed by a restricted regime, or an absolute regime depending on the condition. Outside of pregnancy, such a cervical condition appears normal.
There are cases where there are surgical damages to the cervix, meaning they are acquired, which can be seen before becoming pregnant.
Of course, many women who have this problem have successfully carried pregnancies.
Just take precautions and be careful!

Hello Dr. Kozeta,
I wanted to ask you about a concern, I have noticed in the inner area of the vagina some very small flesh-colored bumps, sometimes but not often have felt itching and burning of the vagina, I am 23 years old. I wanted to know what to do in this case, thank you

Sent by Eni, më 17 May 2018 në 11:05

Hello ENI.
If they are lumps or other things, you cannot determine them yourself. The vagina inside is not smooth, so only a gynecologist who needs to see you can make the difference. This way you can also get the explanation you need!

Sent by Donika, më 20 May 2018 në 16:04

Hello Donika. I don't know of any connection between chest pain and the throat. Chest pain can often come from hormonal changes, or from a cyst, for this you need to have a breast ultrasound and consult with a senologist. Throat issues can have many reasons that cause glands or pain, for this you need to go to an ENT doctor

Hello Doctor.. I wanted to ask you about menstrual disorders. Since they first started, I have had irregular periods. They would come once every 3, 4, or even 6 months. I have had several ultrasounds and was told that there is nothing wrong. I have been treated with contraceptives. While using them, my periods were regular, but after finishing the therapy, the same irregularities continued. I also took Utrogestan hormone therapy for 10 pills, my periods would come but only after using them, and then they became irregular again. Now, a few days ago, I finished another 10 pills of Utrogestan after not having my periods for 5 months, and they came just as a sign and then stopped... meaning very little. Can you help me with an answer?

Sent by Linda, më 07 July 2018 në 05:39

Good day, Linda.
If you haven't had intercourse, you cannot become pregnant. Definitely not with a finger. For pregnancy to occur, the penis must ejaculate sperm into the vagina!

Sent by Elja, më 30 July 2018 në 02:29

Good afternoon, Elia. Generally, it's unusual to become pregnant 4 days before your period. If your menstruation is delayed, you should get a blood test called beta hCG to find out if you are pregnant or not. This is more reliable than ultrasound. Have a good day

I have tried twice with my legs up, but nothing. Of course, we do not have intercourse every day and regularly, sometimes once a week or twice a week when we meet. How can you assess this case?

Sent by Elida, më 02 October 2018 në 07:21

Hello Elida!
What comes out is the seminal fluid, in which the spermatozoa are. When the sperm is ejaculated into the vagina, the spermatozoa pass through the cervix where they become active and go straight to the tubes. The fluid comes out.
It is not necessary to keep your legs up, stay calm and enjoy sexual intercourse. Have a gynecological check-up to see if you have other problems

Hello!
I am 22 years old, and in August, I had an ultrasound that showed a cyst on my ovary about 2.6 cm in size. The doctor didn't give me any medication because he said it would burst. I repeated the ultrasound after a month, and the cyst had grown to about 3.8 cm. The doctor told me to use Yasemin.
How dangerous are these cysts, and can they burst with medication?

Also, during the ultrasound, the doctor found that I had an anomaly in my uterus. He said I have a V-shaped or Triangular uterus, but he didn't emphasize it much and didn't consider it important.

I want to ask what this anomaly is and whether these conditions affect pregnancy!

I would be truly grateful if you could provide me with an answer!

Then I got pregnant again and in the third month, I had severe pain, miscarried, and unfortunately, I ended up with peritonitis and both of my tubes were removed. I have undergone all sorts of tests, my hormone levels are within the normal range, my Pap test is fine, and the ultrasound shows nothing. The only thing left to do is a hysteroscopy, but I am afraid it might worsen things since I have had many abdominal surgeries. My concern is that these secretions continue for two weeks straight after my cycle ends, and this has been going on for three years. Please, why do you think I have this spotting? Could it be a polyp, isthmocele, or what? I am going crazy. Thank you

It would be good to have a check-up with the gynecologist regardless of how your period arrives, since you are a grown girl and need to learn more about your health. If the cycle comes at the same intervals, there's nothing to worry about, it doesn't matter if it's on the same date

Sent by joana, më 19 March 2019 në 15:31

It's normal for the sperm to come out, as it has nowhere else to go. Then, you must wait 2 weeks to take the test to see if you are pregnant, and what's more important, try to learn to be patient, because things don't happen with the push of a button

Sent by Alketa, më 25 March 2019 në 07:53

Hello Albana.
Many things can be: pregnancy, cyst, hormonal changes, stress, fatigue.
or without any reason at all. If your test comes out negative, it only rules out pregnancy. Everything else either go to the doctor or just wait and see. I hope it gets resolved as quickly as possible!

Then the gynecologist prescribed Duphaston. But for a week now, I have been having brown discharges, and today they were very thick. Not much, but when I wipe. Is this a problem? Why do you think this happens? Thank you in advance

Sent by albana, më 25 March 2019 në 09:53

Hello Albana,
It's a bit difficult to find the reason for the bleeding, as there are many factors or causes. Generally, the doctor treating you will exclude reasons one by one and will prescribe the simplest medication possible so as not to affect the baby. Often, no reason is found at all. But it's necessary to do an ultrasound to check the gestational sac, hematoma, uterine anomalies, and then a visit to check for infections, polyps in the cervix. It's important to take the medication and follow the doctor's advice!

Sent by Fati, më 26 Agust 2019 në 09:34

Good day Fati.
It might be a coincidence, or there might be some hormonal imbalance.
See how the cycles will continue, and if it repeats, it would be good to have a check-up with the doctor

Hello, doctor. I am 21 years old and I wanted to ask you because a month ago I took the emergency pill just after my period had ended and a week later I got it again but it was brown in color. For the month of August, my period is delayed and hasn't come yet, I did a urine test because I had pain at the bottom of my stomach and it turned out I have an infection and my leukocytes were at 35-40 per field, I have taken medication but I still have pain even though one of the medicines is a sedative. I was reading on the internet that the pain could also be due to a cyst. Is it possible that this is the case or is it just from the infection? Thank you!

Sent by Ela, më 27 Agust 2019 në 02:12

Hello Ela.
If you think or are afraid there might be a cyst, go and get an ultrasound. Only by getting checked can you find peace

Hello, I am 38 years old and have three children, with the youngest born two years ago. My cycle is regular every 26 days with a flow and duration of about 5-6 days. I have an average weight. In December of this year, I had surgery on my right kidney for a 3.5 cm stone and suffered many complications due to ureteral stenosis. Now it needs to be removed. In routine kidney checks on August 9, 2019, the imaging specialist noticed a hypoechogenic formation with unclear content 4.5 cm by 3.8 cm in the left ovary. I immediately did a Ca 125, which was 9.38, and a gynecological ultrasound, which showed clear content but the same dimensions. Dr. Kozeta, what is the protocol for monitoring the cyst in the ovary, should it be removed, or should it be checked from time to time? The gynecologist recommended Fembidion for 3 months, but I am afraid it might disrupt my kidney parameters. I am really worried about how to deal with the cyst because just the idea that there is something foreign in my body concerns me. Thank you in advance

Sent by Lorenca, më 27 Agust 2019 në 07:50

Hello.
The follow-up protocol depends on the type of cyst and the condition of the woman. And this is determined by the gynecologist who does the examination.
As for the impact on the kidney, you need to consult with a nephrologist, since they know the condition

Hello Dr. Kozeta! I am 32 years old and in May I did a Pap test which came back with the result ASCUS. The doctor told me not to worry and to come back after six months for another Pap test. I had read on the internet and asked for a colposcopy to be done as well. From the colposcopy examination, my cervix appeared clean and the doctor said that these cells might have been at the end of their life or have gone away or they might reappear and told me to come back again after three months. Before the Pap test, I had done a gynecological visit, vaginal echo, blood analysis, urine analysis, all clean except for Candida albicans which I knew I have suffered from all my life. A year ago, a pimple-like bump appeared on my outer lips, very small and I still have it to this day. I have visited three doctors and they say it's an ingrown hair and indeed occasionally a small hair emerges from it, but the pimple does not go away. I wanted to know if the result in colposcopy is something positive or negative. Plus, the Pap test description said there was no presence of many anisokaryotic cells and a repetition of the test was required. PLEASE, CAN YOU DESCRIBE IN SIMPLER WORDS WHETHER ALL THIS PROCESS IS POSITIVE OR NEGATIVE, I MEAN IS IT REGRESSION OR PROGRESSION. Thank you

Please advise me if they are problematic or not! thank you

Sent by Eda, më 09 September 2019 në 08:51

Taking the emergency pill is in most cases accompanied by a disruption of the menstrual cycle. For this reason, they are not medically recommended. Now, there's nothing you can do, just wait for your cycle to normalize on its own. It's not a big problem

Hello Ani.
It's enough to send the message once, the reply comes when there's time.
If you want to know whether you're pregnant or not, you need to do the blood analysis for the hormone bhCG. The delay of your cycle has nothing to do with the ovules you have used.
Have a good day

Immediately after that, I had an ultrasound and the doctor told me that everything related to the fetus was ok. However, he prescribed me progesterone suppositories twice a day. Today, I had another ultrasound and it showed that I have a hematoma near the fetus. I continue to take the progesterone. Hello Dr. Kozeta, first of all, I wish you health. I am a mom who works as an assistant in a rehabilitation clinic in Germany. I have two daughters. Here, I have completed all the medical visits starting from the Pap test, vaginal secretion echo, after all came back negative, we thought why not expand the family. We have been having regular relations for 4 months, meanwhile, I emphasize that my cycle has been regular, 30 days with a duration of 5-6 days. The first day of my last menstruation was on 23.10.2019. Yesterday, I contacted my gynecologist, made an appointment, and went today, meanwhile, I had done a test 7 days before and it came out Negative. Today, the doctor first did a direct HCG urine test, and told me that it is Negative. But after this, she did a vaginal ultrasound scan and then an abdominal echo, in each of them she told me that she does not see a pregnancy. Everything was in the right dimensions.
Now, my concern is not because I am not pregnant, but as soon as I came home after 30 minutes, bleeding started, everything looks normal, the blood is clean.
My question is whether the vaginal probe could have served as some kind of stimulation for better or for "worse" because I am terrified by the thought that it might have been a newly conceived pregnancy but was negatively affected by the vaginal probe.
I wish you and your family, and all of Albania, good health in this difficult situation.

Why do you have pain: usually, the arrival of the period is painful.
Why are the secretions brown in color? Because they are in small amounts.
Go have a gynecological check-up to make sure you are okay!

Hello Doctor! I have a question, please. My last period started on November 6th and ended on November 11th. I have 2 children and I am 22 years old. I have taken 3 pregnancy tests and they all came out negative. I have concerns such as; headaches, I am very stressed, I don't sleep well, I get irritated very quickly. Thank you if you could give me an answer! Regards!

Sent by Tea, më 17 January 2020 në 14:36

Hello.
Nervousness and headache are not signs of pregnancy.
If the tests are negative, then do a blood test for hCG, which is reliable, and calm down

Hello doctor, I am 25 years old and have an endometrioma cyst (with blood) in my right ovary, 4 cm, which I have had for 7 months. I have been having check-ups every month and have been using contraceptive pills. I have an appointment for laparoscopy in 2 months. My question is, can the cyst rupture? I really want to get pregnant. Does it pose a problem if I get pregnant while I have the cyst, or is laparoscopy necessary regardless?

Sent by Gona, më 20 January 2020 në 04:47

Hello GOna.
It would be very good if that cyst did not burst, as it constitutes a surgical emergency, and you would lose the chance to be treated with laparoscopy.
I hope your surgery goes well!

Hello doctor, I hope you are well. I am Ela, 21 years old. My problem started a few months ago. My concern began with some internal acne in the chin area and a bit around it; after they heal for a short time, they come back again. I also have the presence of acne a bit on the back area and behind the thighs. Another symptom that accompanies me is hair loss, not in an alarming state, but it has caught my attention because I have never before experienced hair loss or weakening. And the biggest problem that has accompanied me are very frequent vaginal secretions during the day and sometimes at night; they come with the same sensation one experiences during periods, so I feel a kind of warmth during their discharge. The secretions are white like serum and without a bad smell. Also, during sexual intercourse, I feel the presence of these excessive secretions because I feel the difference from the previous situation. Thinking it might be a gynecological problem, I had a gynecological visit and a culture of the secretions, but only resulted in a small amount of fungus. Even after the treatment received from the gynecologist in the form of oral antibiotics and vaginal ovules, the same situation of secretions continued without any change. I also mention that about a year ago, I had an ovarian cyst of 3cm size but caught in time and disappeared within a few days. Do you think I might have a hormonal disorder? And if so, what tests would you suggest I do because I am really suffering from this situation. Looking forward to your reply. Thank you

I am a 21-year-old married woman, my husband is 25 years old.
We have been trying to conceive for 7 months but without success.
Before we started trying, I had a check-up with the gynecologist (ultrasound) and was told that I am fine.
My cycle is regular and I try to track my ovulation days.
Should we have further tests or should we wait a bit longer, thank you

Folic acid is not a magic potion, it's simply a type of Vitamin B that is found in many foods we consume every day. If your life is healthy, and without diseases or habits, there is no problem

Hello Dr. Kozeta. I hope you are in good health during this difficult period we are going through. My problem is this: In January, I had my period twice, on 02.01 / it lasted 8 days and on 27.01 / it also lasted 8 days. In February, on the days I was expecting them, they did not come (I thought maybe I was pregnant and the test turned out negative). At the beginning of March, I did an ultrasound and it turned out that I had a cyst on my right ovary. On 13.03, my period returned / it lasted 8 days until 20. From the 20th until today, I have some brown discharge? I want to know if it is a problem that could have been caused by the cysts or some more serious problem? Thank you

Taking emergency contraception is not safe. But if you are very worried, you should do a blood bhCG test 12 days after having intercourse to find out whether you are pregnant or not

Can you tell me if this is a serious problem? Also, for a long time now, when I have relations with my husband, it hurts in the same way a wound would hurt, and there are very few cases when it doesn't hurt. When I had check-ups a month ago, my tests came out very good and the gynecologist told me I didn't have anything except a little bit of mucosa, but I don't understand why it hurts like this. Please, when you can, give me a reply, Thank you very much!

If you experience headaches during your cycle, you should consult a neurologist to check for the possibility of migraines and to get treated as well.
If you have pain during intercourse, and you are normal upon examination, I don't know what to say. Try to be calm and stress-free, be careful with the food you eat and the liquids you consume

Hello doctor, I hope you are well. I have a concern. I have been trying to conceive during the month of March, especially on my ovulation days. I had my period on February 28, and I have a regular cycle. On March 27, which means yesterday, I experienced dizziness and vomiting, then I noticed that my period came in a completely brown color. I had a lot of dizziness and vomiting before it stopped in the evening on March 28, meaning the next day, I saw that my periods came in a bright red color. I wanted to know, is it possible to be pregnant and still get your period? And I have a lot of foods that now when I see them make me want to vomit, I emphasize that even today before getting dizzy and vomiting, what should I do? Can I take a pregnancy test under my conditions?

Sent by Ana, më 28 March 2020 në 15:38

Hello Ana.
For pregnancy to cause nausea and vomiting, it has to be over 6 weeks, not when you are 2 weeks... Your food issues are because you constantly think you are pregnant. You would do well to relax, let the baby come when it comes, and most importantly, it doesn't seem like an appropriate time to get pregnant.
Take care of yourself and your family!

Hello. I wanted to ask you something. I have a regular cycle every month, historically, on the 3rd or 4th of every month it happens. I've never had any issues. I've been trying to get pregnant for 4 months. My last cycle was on March 4th, and according to my calculations, around the 20th I had my ovulation day, I can distinguish it every month because I have pain in the ovary area, this month I didn't notice it on that day, but a few days later, I think. Unlike every month when my breasts hurt a lot before that time, this month not at all. Two days before the cycle, my stomach started hurting, and on the 4th I only got two spots like stains when I wiped and nothing else. Today I am 3 days late and took a test, it came out negative. I went to get an ultrasound for any cyst or anything, there was nothing. The doctor here just said it might be a delay. I had nothing on the ultrasound. She prescribed me to use Duphaston for 5 days. Do you think there might be a small chance that I could be pregnant and the test didn't show it? Or does that not happen? Because this kind of irregularity scares me, given that it's the first time. All my checks have been normal. It's not like I've been through any stress during this period. What do you think, doctor?

Sent by Ema, më 17 April 2020 në 11:37

Hello Ema.
Taking a biopsy does not affect it, but stress and the way you experienced this intervention do affect it.
Calm down and your cycle will come.

Certainly, it might be a consequence of using the pills you are taking.
But it could also be due to other reasons, such as polyps in the cervix, and inside the uterus, hormonal changes, or changes in the structure of the ovary

Sent by Ola , më 18 April 2020 në 18:26

The burning comes from the acidity of the vagina, or from a possible infection.
It would be good to have a check-up with a doctor, and if necessary, also get tests for the infection

Sent by Mira, më 19 April 2020 në 16:12

Hello!
Bicornuate uterus is a congenital anomaly and has to do with the shape of the uterus. It does not affect its function.
Therefore, it has no impact on becoming pregnant or not. You should look for other reasons.
Or there might not be any other reason, it's just not the time yet

Sent by Djana , më 26 April 2020 në 13:36

Hello Diana.
I don't know what "miter with holes" means; we don't use this phrase.
If you had an exact diagnosis, it could help.
Secretions with color could come from problems with the uterus or the cervix.
So, only a good, detailed examination can find the reason

If your period comes regularly, regardless of the interval of days, there is nothing to worry about.
You don't need to take medicine to change what your body has determined.
No medicine is without side effects, and they are only taken when truly needed

Sent by Megi, më 29 April 2020 në 07:17

Hello Megi.
Firstly, please don't emphasize anything. Drop this habit of your generation to emphasize...The doctor will find what they need themselves.
3 months is too little time to get pregnant, so there is nothing to worry about.
The baby comes when it's time. Stay calm and eat well.
Abdominal pains can come from many reasons, from the genital, urinary, and intestinal tracts.
If they bother you, you should get a detailed check-up.
Sperm has nowhere to go but to come out.
A woman gets pregnant from the sperm, which is invisible to the naked eye, and passes through the cervix at the right time, the seminal fluid comes out
