Hello Dr. Artan, I am specializing in orthopedic surgery, please help me with this. Report: Right hip joint radiography, AP
- No fractures or bony destruction.
- No loss of bone density.
Massive osteophytes are noted in the margins of the acetabulum and in the margins of the articular surface of the femoral head, mostly laterally, the femoral head is deformed, and the articular surface is flattened. The articular surfaces are highly sclerotic and irregular. There is lateral and superior migration of the femoral head with narrowing of the lateral joint space. Dense calcifications are observed along the arteries and the femur: besides this, the soft tissues are normal.
Result: It shows advanced degenerative disease. Doctor, is it for surgery or for physiotherapy?
