Hello, I have been suffering from an injury to my ankle for 4 months, after falling from a ladder. The doctors here in Greece, where I am, tell me that as a result of the injury, algosis and atrophy have developed, and I will remain like this for the rest of my life. I walk with a cane. How is it possible, some tell me it's impossible to have atrophy at this age, I am 44. Can't arthroplasty be done? I await your response, thank you

I am 70 years old, and since childhood, I have had a deformity in the shin of one leg. Perhaps from polio. I have always walked with difficulty, but without pain or with very little pain when the leg got tired. Over the last year, the pain has increased until it has become unbearable. The two doctors in the city where I have been examined have given me contradictory advice for treatment (massages, keeping it in a kind of isolation, etc.) and some medication that has not had any effect. Now I can't even wear shoes. I need your advice

Hello! Since childhood, I have had problems with my spine, but it did not prevent me from leading a normal life. A few years ago, I fell (several times) and initially did not realize it, but later I started having severe headaches and numbness in my left leg. Then I began to lose weight. I had an MRI and it showed that I have a narrowing of the spinal canal at the L2-S1 level and a curvature of the spine to the right. Currently, I walk with the help of a cane. Please advise me on what to do and where to turn. Thank you!
