Hello Dr. Taulandi!
I wanted to ask you; Is the treatment of diabetic wounds your specialty only, or can other doctors do it too?
I hope to get an answer very much!
Thank you

Hello Blerina and thank you for the question.
The majority of our patients are those who have wounds that do not heal, one of these are diabetic wounds.
I cannot say that the treatment of diabetic foot wounds is solely our property, but I would prefer to say that we have a very great experience and the highest possible success when both Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT) and wound treatment are carried out by us as specialists, otherwise, we cannot guarantee the highest success in therapy

Hello doctor!
I wanted to ask you about a problem I have.
My mother is 73 years old and is being treated for diabetes but does not take insulin. She has developed a callus between the fourth and fifth toe of her left foot but even though she has treated the callus, it has not gone away and it hurts when she wears shoes.
I am afraid it might be because of the diabetes.
Can such a case happen?
I am waiting for your response.
Thank you

Hello Ermelinda,
Over the years, diabetes damages the blood circulation in various organs of the body. Diabetic foot is one of the complications of diabetes based on the damage to blood circulation. As for calluses on the feet, even people who do not have diabetes can have them, but in the case of diabetics, care must be taken as calluses can cause a wound to open. Without seeing, that is without making a visit, I cannot specifically say what needs to be done so that the callus on your mother's finger does not create further problems. So, what I advise is a consultation at our clinic.
I wish you a good day,
Take care!

Dear Dr. Qyrdedi,
My daughter (7 years old) Inga Badura has autism. We come from Poland. Our friends (Beata Wisniewska and Grzegorz Srutka) were at your clinic with their children for hyperbaric oxygen therapy. We would like to come to you in July or August for HBOT. Please let me know if it is possible, when precisely, and if you could help us find an apartment to rent. My email address is: abadura79@gmail.com, phone number +48501163888.
Hope to hear from you soon.

Hello!
In fact, my comment is not about the doctor but about Mr. "Devi" who wrote at 1 AM, and who deals with diabetic wounds.
"Dear sir, it's enough to browse: www.hbot.al or simply to get informed about the treatment that is given to these wounds worldwide, you will learn a lot, just as I did out of necessity."
I eagerly await to hear your thoughts on what you will see and read, of course, if you do it

This email is for the doctor.
WE THANK YOU VERY MUCH DOCTOR FOR WHAT YOU HAVE DONE AND CONTINUE TO DO FOR US, because if it were for others, dad would have become disabled long ago

Hello, please can you give me advice on how to achieve healing of the wound after surgery on the colon, closing an anal fissure. What should I use in food to help me heal faster since every wound, especially this one, can easily get infected and is very difficult for me to heal? I await your response as soon as possible. Thank you

Hello doctor! My father has broken his spine and is paralyzed from the waist down and because he sits all the time, he has had an open wound on his lower part for about two years, and it won’t heal. We have visited many doctors who have recommended different types of treatments, but they have not been effective. There are moments when the wound begins to heal, but then it starts to open up again. Please tell me if there is any way to heal that kind of wound and if you are the one we should turn to. Thank you

I am in the early stages of diabetes and have started treatment. In this phase, would it benefit me to also undergo hyperbaric therapy? I have no other options
Sent by KELA, më 27 October 2021 në 09:49
Hello Kela,
I do not know if you have other accompanying problems of diabetes such as issues with blood circulation in the lower extremities or wounds on the feet that are hard to heal and take longer than 1 month to heal, or wounds that do not heal.
If not, then it is not necessary to undergo hyperbaric therapy.
If you have accompanying problems, then it should be seen and discussed whether or not you should undergo hyperbaric therapy.
Best regards
